@TonbridgeDaily Hi. Mum’s had a letter telling her about the Spring COVID vaccinations. The letter refers her to the app or website, neither of which she can now use. So, for those without, our walk-in centres are Hobbs Pharm, Clarke & Coleman, E. Street, Curries & Thompsons HIL

@susywilkinson Great day to come back to TW and glad you enjoyed it. I walked past the balconies a couple of days ago. I not noticed them before. Looks like a grest spot x

@scriptwren I'm glad you didn't. It's tough isn't it. Hope you do well and get some decent rest later.

@_SmartUK Hi Martin ... not as far as I know. They are notoriously bad in replying if contacted.

@TonbridgeDaily Hi. The THS website is down. Do you know if this means the Historical Society has folded?

@TonbridgeDaily Might any of your followers have travelled by bus to Tunbridge Wells Hospital during the current A21 closure? What diversions/delays have they experienced? I have an appointment there later this week. Neither the hospital nor Arriva can help me. 🙏

Thank you to everyone who helped me vent my pros and cons the other day. Daughter has chosen to go to the new school. While it’s not an entirely perfect fit for her, we both think that she’ll be happier overall and do better there. Now we can all look forward with a fresh start.

@milla_reed @scriptwren Good Luck. Son moved from one local Grammar to another @ 6th form. He chose Art A level but offered English-Gov/Politics-German. Then offered Politics @ Uni. He refused. Fresh start @ WKC Foundation Art Then Uni Animation. Now an Animator in film. Paid off to follow his heart x

@scriptwren I can’t help - I didn’t know which school my eldest chose for A levels until she came home on the first day of term and told me where she’d got off the bus!

My middle has been offered 3 A levels at a local grammar school or to stay at her comp. Comp has offered her all 3 of her choices. Grammar has offered one, one similar and one which was her top GCSE result. She enjoyed both schools’ tasters. She is sociable. What should she do?

@scriptwren I like Tunbridge Wells. It does have a lot to offer. But, I live in rival downmarket Tonbridge. The one with a castle, a river, a top public School & a Waitrose. The word is us Tonbridgians are happier, more friendly & have a valuable sense of community. Btw I was born T Wells

In and out of Tunbridge Wells today to try and sort daughter’s 6th form out. Walking in the high street. Everyone looked expensive, well-heeled and miserable. I don’t much miss living there tbh (which is a good thing!) (I was born there so I am allowed to diss it 😆)
