Sidestick great for single pilot airplane but does not belong in a crewed airplane.
Sidestick takes the non flying pilot out of the loop. He can’t see what the flying pilot’s inputs are.
Example on a gusty landing, aircraft suddenly banks. Was that the wind, or a pilot input? Is the flying pilot correcting for it? On an Airbus the non flying pilot has no idea. On a Boeing you see the control wheel moving right in front of you.
AF447, the crew didn’t realize the pilot flying was holding full aft stick until it was too late.

LAKEVILLE: Near 21320 Holyoke Ave. – Around 2:45 p.m., a 2023 Robinson R66 helicopter crashed in a field near the Airlake Airport and caught fire. Fire crews responded and have since cancelled paramedics, though it’s not yet clear how many people were on board or the extent of injuries.
