@FutureCanes But you can say 2-1 vs TB and 1-1 vs COL in regular season and of the final 2 teams they played AND beat, they were 0-fer in the regular season, so his argument is 💩

This has to be the undisputed dumbest argument on the internet. “The Canes’ Cup is tainted because they avoided the teams that lost to the teams that they beat”. “Take their best players away and they’d suck!!!😂🤣” Just shut up, idiot. Cope, weep, & seethe.
Kevin Rogers@RogersPicks

Few more things to mention: Carolina won the Cup, but avoided TB and Colorado, faced one team that finished in Top 2 of division (VGK). Take Aho, Ehlers, Svechnikov, and Jarvis off team for most of the season and we'll see how they do. We all want these teams to meet again.

@AKi_nG @HOOKS267 @boxingfx1 And it was, watch that replay and look at some of the poundings Sugar Ray was landing in those off-rounds from the knockdowns. Hearns was stumbling and flailing air. Easy 10-8s to close the gap, Leonard did all but get knockdowns.

@HOOKS267 @boxingfx1 The fighter that was dropped wins 2 extra rounds on the cards. Especially if it was 2 10-8

Thomas Hearns spent most of the eighties chasing a rematch with Sugar Ray Leonard and it’s cruel that he was denied the victory he craved. Yet their second fight – at Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace in 1989 – was a two-way thriller and not quite the outrageous robbery that some now label it. Indisputable, though, was Hearns’ excellent performance. Coming into the bout after an unimpressive display against James Kinchen and, on fight day, hearing the news that his younger brother had been charged with murder, the “Hit Man” went about business like a man possessed. He scored two knockdowns, in rounds three and 11, and survived under severe Leonard pressure in the fifth and 12th. The crowd chanted “Bulls**t” after the result – a draw – was announced. The day before the fight, Hearns accused Leonard of using steroids. The claims were laughed off by Sugar Ray and his team. At the time, the Nevada State Athletic Commission tested both fighters for ‘other drugs’ but did not test for PED use.

@boxingfx1 I remember that like it was yesterday. Hearns pounded Leonard in the knockdowns, but Sugar Ray also pounded Tommy, easily getting 2-point rounds to offest the knockdowns. In addition, Leonard scored better in round-by-round than most understand. Fair to be upset, but fair score.

@OmarKelly Had major shoulder surgery (not arthroscopic) in my mid 20s. I was very athletic. It was well over a year before I was back to some semblance of my former shape. It takes time. Can't force tendon and ligament recovery or you shred them, further compromising them and your future.

So very sad. Another legend gone silent. A warm, kind and funny man who lived life and was among those who carried the torch so many of us who came along learned from and got inspiration and knowledge. Steve, you will be missed. To your family our love, prayers and condolences.

It is finished. @stevewaid, one of the most most accomplished print journalists to ever step foot in a NASCAR media, died this afternoon after a long fight with the after effects of cancer. He was 77. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to @VictoryJunction or @LeavineCancer.

@SCSportsReport @Carowinds @JoeBrunoWSOC9 @dogwoodblooms I will never forget one trip. 1st ride, friend pushed me in front. Said front always gets soaked. We hit the plunge and I literally watched it fly over my head soaking him in the 2nd row. Nightcap re-run, He jumped into the front row. Yep. Plastered. What a night! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

@sports8 Hey @sports8 Shut up. Ignoring your cherry-picked pic to 'prove' your wrong point, & the valid GI arguments. Pic 1-ref's arm going to blow the whistle. Pic 2-ref at net about to/blowing it (= play is dead-PERIOD) Pic-3-OH! Same pic c/up w/puck, still in crease anyway! No goal.
