@taraagardiner @BrynnUtah 100% correct, Tara. Too much poaching for other teams to see the talent on the field and go after our the top players. Not to mention, so many dumb injuries have happened during the spring game .

I absolutely see the “why” behind cancellation - after the “clear WR1” entered transfer portal days after the spring game last year, it comes with reason. Even with elimination of the spring portal, the loophole of dropping out and re-enrolling elsewhere still exists. I also think Scalley’s correct to prioritize the extra practice day with all the “new” happening in the system. It will be of benefit to the team later. Sad? A little. But, completely understand it.

Clarification: It was a temple open house that everyone is allowed to attend. HOWEVER, I still have mixed feelings. Part of me is saying good of him for going to the temple and that I shouldn’t be judging and the other part of me thinks this is in bad taste on his part.
