@Ross__Hendricks Based on this logic every human is a horrible driver with just their vision based system and lack of LIDAR. You’re also right that computers are dumb and can’t beat humans at anything… especially processing information…🤔

The problem for $tsla is simple… 1) it will have to reinvent its robotaxi design with lidar/radar sensors if it has any hope of operating safely 2) by the time it does that, it will be a laggard in a crowded field of competitors 3) profit margins among this crowded field will be squeezed in the same way Uber and Lyft bled cash for their first decade of market share battles 4) even in the wildest, most optimistic scenario of market share dominance, $tsla will never generate enough cash flow to justify anything close to a $1T valuation

It's when the options are out of the money- or, more properly NOT at the money that they become more difficult to manage because of second and third order effects and feedback loops which complicate our ability to estimate our future risk with any precision.

@RealDanODowd @Tesla @elonmusk Aggressive and bold sure, but dangerous? Come on most “people” do this regularly. Not saying it’s acceptable but this behavior happens almost every time. Now should FSD be a bit more conservative running a red lights? Sure, but dangerous feels like a poor description. Do better!

Watch this @Tesla #FSD (Supervised) v13.2 blow straight through a red light: "Oh man, that was pretty red... I definitely would have stopped there!" @ElonMusk your defective software is dangerous and should be banned immediately. youtu.be/dgAJVnfNGig?fe…

$TSLA rolls out FSD v13 to select few customers The improvements detailed in the FSD v13 release notes are substantial, but they remain part of a supervised system, which suggests Tesla is still in the iterative phase of development rather than being ready for full autonomy. Here’s how these changes might impact the timeline for a robotaxi service: 1.Technical Readiness: The upgrades like reduced latency, improved reward predictions, and dynamic routing show Tesla is focusing on real-world usability and safety. However, the addition of features like “audio inputs” for emergency vehicles indicates the system still requires enhancements to handle edge cases autonomously, which are critical for unsupervised robotaxi deployment. The planned 3x model scaling and context length scaling suggest Tesla is working toward understanding more complex and longer-term scenarios, which are essential for autonomous operations. These upgrades will likely require further testing and refinement, extending the timeline. 2.Regulatory Approval: Despite technological advancements, regulatory approval remains a significant hurdle. Even with a near-perfect system, regulators require extensive validation and safety records before granting permission for unsupervised deployment. 3.Operational Considerations: The features in v13 seem to align more with improving driver-assist systems than enabling unsupervised autonomy. Tesla may use supervised FSD in pilot robotaxi programs with drivers present as a transitional phase, but true robotaxi services without driver intervention are still several steps away. Timeline for Robotaxi Service: Fully Autonomous Robotaxi Service (No Driver): Likely 2026-2028 in limited areas, depending on Tesla’s ability to address edge cases and secure regulatory approval. In summary, while v13 is a significant step forward, it doesn’t fundamentally change the estimated timeline for a driverless robotaxi service—it accelerates progress but highlights that Tesla is still some distance from achieving unsupervised autonomy.

@ValueAnalyst1 There’s your problem. You mention the value of the company today. The market is and always will be forward looking and the phrase that the market priced it in justifies that claim. Your suggested evaluation is just base on how you feel and not the market.

If customers wanted other options enough, $RIVN & other EV producers would be profitable, but the fact is $TSLA is the only automaker in the world that achieved profitable, mass production of EVs, and even Tesla is facing high probability of declining margins in the near future.

Green Hills Software produces the Integrity 178B Operating System that powers the F-35, F-22, F-16, and B-2. It also powers the Airbus A380. It was also quite possibly leaked. Now you understand why the entire USMC air fleet has been grounded. Fun fact: the CEO of Green Hills Software is none other than infamous Elon Musk hater Dan O'Dowd.

JUST IN: Footage of the debris field of the F-35 jet has been released after it was located in a field in Williamsburg County, South Carolina. The crash site was about 80 miles from Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. The F-35 fighter jet appeared to run through a group of trees before crashing down in the field. In 2019, concerns were raised by the Pentagon of the possibility that the F-35 could be hacked. It’s still unclear what caused the crash…

@GordonJohnson19 @MorganStanley How does your brain make sense of this information when it appears all manufacturers took a hit to “demand”…? Would 1.2k more insured units make it fine? Just trying to understand your logic.

I know I was a little trigger happy last night to sell my position and I could have made a few more $'s. However, I'll never complain about locking in a price after a 140% gain in a few months. Yes, I still took a little loss but I got out of the hole I put myself in. $TSLA
