Does it make me an old man that this grammar feels wrong? With no verb in the question the ‘do’ comes out of nowhere. And shouldn’t it be ‘have’ not ‘do’ anyway?

I'm a doctor. My partner is a doctor. We are both at the same point in our training. We have no guarantee that we can live in the same area when we enter further training. We could end up opposite ends of the country. I've trained for years and the system couldn't care less.

@leicspolice be aware road works in Langham Rutland on A606. Southbound carriageway closed. Traffic lights not working, inadequate sight lines, long queues at the moment, feels quite dangerous.
