The Merge is coming, and when it does, you'll have a choice that every holder will have to sit with. It's pretty interesting to learn how the whole thing works and how the community will play a big part in how the collection turns out Let me break it down properly: What the Merge actually is: Your existing token gets burned(somehow) . Gone from supply entirely In return, a brand new token is minted at a higher layer. Layer 1s becomes Layer 2. Layer 2s becomes Layer 3 These aren't just upgrades to your existing token either. They're completely new entries in the collection with previews nobody in the community has seen yet What you need to understand before you decide: Nothing is automatic. Every single merge is a deliberate choice made by the holder You cannot skip stages. The progression is fixed Layer 1 → Layer 2 → Layer 3. And once you merge, that's it. Irreversible. There's no mechanism to undo it, reverse engineer it or recover what you burned What's interesting to me is that nobody can predict how this collection ends up looking. Every single person sitting on a token is going to have to decide what they actually want from this. And people will go different directions. Some will merge the first day. Some will hold and see how things shake out before touching anything. It will be pretty interesting to see what the community decide when the merge goes live. What will you choose?
