@hilltopjennifer Jesus Christ, she looks awful.
I wonder what Harry thinks of her latest look.
English

@123workerbee Totally, totally embarrassing for Meghan the wannabe world do-gooder.
English

I love this for her. Long trip for a short speech and no photo op working the crowds. 😉👏
She is proven less relevant every time she attempts to be more relevant.
The world is so sick of her.

Take away the staff and media required to be there for work, and you'll be left with the flagpole

It's hard to argue with Andy Burnham over the damage that deregulation of bus, train & energy companies have caused in Britain.
Public transport is a complete joke compared to 30 years ago.
Some industries work better under government control.
I find it very difficult to understand why any working class person would ever vote for a Conservative-leaning party.
And unless you're earning over £100k, which you're not if you're reading this post, you're much better off in a Union at work.
Burnham would be a sea change from Starmer, but Wes Streeting has one surprise up his sleeve, which might well get him into Number 10 ahead of the Manchester Mayor.
Streeting has hinted he would take Britain back into the EU, without a referendum.
If you can name one single benefit Brexit has given this country, or any way Britain has improved since 2016, please feel free to rack your brain and leave suggestions in the comments?

The IMF arrives in November. The most British humiliation imaginable because it rhymes so precisely with 1976. Conditions attached to the facility require reversing the renationalisation programme. The entire political project of year one is publicly dismantled as the price of keeping the lights on.
The collapse isn’t ideological. It’s mechanical. The machine just ran out of headroom, which Andy couldn't foresee because he lives in a utopian fantasy land.
English

1/ Thought experiment doing the rounds in my head this morning. Burnham replaces Starmer. He walks into Number 10 with the Manchester accent and the real Labour framing. He announces the renationalisation of water, energy, rail, and grid. All of it. Funded by, well, vibes mostly.
Here’s how the next twelve months actually play out. 👇🧵

@Tendar Can this be verified? I thought Russians couldn't send mobile phone messages out of the country any longer so how has this video footage become available?
English

@TomK_Brit1993 Starmer is but one rung in the ladder of utterly useless British post war PMs who are pushing our economy into a dead end, with little hope of individual freedoms and a work ethic for the younger generation.
English

@Tendar It's about bloody time that Putin's Special Military Operation was felt by ordinary Moscovites.

Andy Burnham is a high tax obsessive & high spender who has run up a lot of debt in Manchester. On tax he wants:
The top rate to be hiked to 50%, even though that will lose revenue
A wealth tax
A holiday tax
Council tax revaluation, so some "will have to pay more"
A 10% social care levy on top of inheritance tax
New local taxes to pay for infrastructure & social care
A graduate tax
On spending he opposes welfare cuts & wants:
£40bn of new borrowing to build council houses
More borrowing powers for councils to build council houses
New borrowing to pay for defence
A new "free" National Care Service / more social care funding
More homelessness and rough-sleeping funding
More bus subsidies & "free transport for teenagers"
Widespread nationalisation, inc energy, "rolling back the 1980s"
Abandoning the fiscal framework because Britain has "got to get beyond this thing of being in hock to the bond markets"

@TracyFo17086370 @ARamblingRoyal But is Charles naive enough to allow them both back in the fold?
English

@ARamblingRoyal They want the opportunity to get photos and videos of them and the invisikids with Charles and Camilla, not for sentimental reasons but purely monetary. They are desperate for relevance and something they can sell, plus a personal appeal to get back into PA's wallet 💲🏧💲🏧💲
English

@KQuick20704342 Come on Ken. There's really no need to be so obsequious. It's a bog standard broker placing designed so that #prd minimises the 7% cash commission due.
English

#PRD Missing from the table of how the £3M placing was being spent - no mention of the usual arrangement / admin fee to the joint brokers, just a measly 6M warrants. That suggests to me that this is not a standard placing, but a share issue to a single (Moroccan?) party.
English

@EuromaidanPR But Russia can still fly 800 armed drones overnight. Last night, for instance.
English

- The air defense doesn't work at all. Not a single shot was fired.
The lack of an air defense system in russia is now being discussed by the Muscovites themselves. As we noted earlier, from the videos that often appear, the operation of air defense systems cannot be heard, which may indicate a shortage of them against the backdrop of the increasing range of strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A little bit about Andy Burnham...
He has repeatedly ignored Rochdale and Oldham rape gangs.
He wasted £100m+ on failed Clean Air Zone before U-turning.
He oversaw Greater Manchester Police collapse amid a crime surge.
He was Health Secretary during the Mid-Staffordshire NHS deaths scandal and cover-up between 2005-2008.
He claimed £17k expenses for a London flat within walking distance of Parliament.
He's just as bad as the rest of them, perhaps even worse...
I guess that’s why the pound tumbled upon news of his leadership bid.

English

@WW3finalboss I guess there will be fewer weapons grade chemicals on Russian supermarket shelves now, as well as ordinary foodstuffs.

@APearlBird @Maks_NAFO_FELLA Ordinary Russians aren't aware of the environmental health dangers in such explosions. And you can be sure the Kremlin won't draw attention to it.

@UKRoyalWatch Of course Meghan knows that Sophie will be there a day later. Harry has a mole inside the RP and is using it to arrange public shows and interviews.
English

@KQuick20704342 An excellent interview, but I'm left thinking that given the short fuse left to the 1st Extension Period, time is not on #prd's side, and the likes of Menagem (or ADNOC) could easily squeeze them out for the big play.

@frontlinekit What always amazes me is the precision of the strikes being made against Russian military infrastructure, everywhere.
Someone, somewhere, is doing their homework and organising action with military precision to avoid collateral damage, the opposite of the cack-handed Russian way
