@RyanJC2009 @HazelAppleyard I imagine if you agreed, it'd never stop being scary, but it'd get easier and less scary over time. You'd always have that fear of "what if this time I actually do die", but it'd never be as bad as the first time.

@Toobu11 @constans Your comfort relies on a stable integration into the economy that is actively disappearing for millions. When the daily loop of work and consumption stops providing meaning, that exhaustion is completely rational. Writing it off as a medical defect just defends a dying status quo

@feniu2137 @LilithLovett It does not spoil, but it does not spawn out of nowhere. Sure, in the whole world there is enough food for 500 years... But its not in one place. Its thinly spread across the globe. You'll be fine for the first century, but then - they you'll have to scavenge.

I would do this, the people who would say no simply lack the creativity and will.
500 years is like, 6-7 lifetimes, not even that long considering the infinite possibilities of projects I could be working on.
Sure I might go a lil insane, but I’m sure I’ll figure something out.

@ConfessionsMew I have mixed feelings. I like the fact that even with a really really strong run you still have to think a little before choosing to go to the infinite. If the boss were just Big Numbers with no hard counters, strong runs would be way more brainless
