@ToonArmyChris79 @ijajt_ The Rise and TSS Rovers (men and women) play there. It's lopsided and doesn't contain the action the way a stadium would with fans on both sides but it's still good for a smaller crowd. U17 world cup was there - Luis Suaraz, Edinson Cavani and Gerard Pique.

This would be a way better location for a permanent move than the Hastings proposal but the Vancouver elitists would try to tell you it's too far because they're scared to cross Boundary Rd.

The title is an ironic joke with The Who's "The Kids Are Alright," but here it turns into the opposite: the American dream gone wrong.

There have been questions about the safety of BMO Field's temporary World Cup seats. Today, the north stand got its first use for Toronto FC. I went way up to the worst seats to sway in the wind and test them for myself, free to read at @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/72665…

@TurtlePower3BT @tdnightingale Dazn was great the first few years in Canada when you had EPL, CL, Europa, Championship...but once EPL moved to fubo, they all became too expensive for what they offered

@tdnightingale I do not mind at all sports going onto regular streaming services like Paramount, they seem to have more variety of stuff (movies/shows) and adding sports is more bang for your buck. Dazn really expensive, it's already a hard sell even with UEFA tournaments

Note into my inbox: The Canadian broadcast rights for all UEFA men's club competitions including the Champions League are moving from DAZN to Paramount+ starting in 2027-28.
