On June 12th, our beautiful 3-year-old daughter Amelia passed away unexpectedly in her sleep. She was the most incredible little girl that brightened up everyone’s life she came in contact with. Our family is devastated and we’re working to process such a tragic loss. There are still a lot of hard days ahead but I’m trying to be strong for my wife, who was the best mother to Amelia, and our 6-year-old son. We’re all trying to find a little good in each day. I rarely, if ever share anything personal on here, as I usually just stick to sports but it’s been my mission to tell as many people as possible how amazing Amelia was. Also, if you are grieving the loss of a loved one, just know there are people out there you don’t know anything about fighting alongside you. Life is measured by love, not time.
