@WilliamShatner What EVs need is more destination chargers - so arrive to your destination charge there while you do your thing. In that way the waiting time is 0.

And for the #teslarites who don’t understand 500 miles. Time is money. How long does it take to pump a tank of gas? 4-5 mins versus 30. Early last week I went up to the Yosemite area (about 300 miles.) I got up there, did my thing and got gas (5 mins) and drove back. With a Tesla. It would be drive up (maybe on one charge) charge up 20-30 mins, do my thing. Drive back, stop along the way to recharge (again probably another 20 mins…) That’s too long. 500 would be one recharge so it’s 10 mins gas versus 29-30 mins which I would consider.🤷🏼

@wholemars Tesla should add a grayed-out option to show FSD exists. Lots of Tesla drivers have no idea it exists, and now with the tab called self-driving, it can be super confusing. Can you do a post about this? I’m not big enough.

That is correct we built the seat height to be inline with standard wheel chair seat height. Accessibility is very important in autonomous vehicles, freedom of transportation for everyone is critical.

The doors can easily be opened manually (should the power go out). The seats are wheelchair height.

Pouring rain. Both of us signaled to merge into the same empty lane at nearly the same time. FSD reacted immediately. I didn't even see him until FSD was already handling it.

These new door releases look super simple and easy to operate. Likely unifies both the electronic and manual door release into a single part
Of course, the main way people and open and close the doors on this vehicle may be on the screen, or it may happen automatically.
I expect we will see this across Tesla’s lineup
