@realhansard It's been forgotten that the entire point of the third condition (2.5% regardless) was added to deliberately increase in real terms the amount over a number of years, rather than one massive payout.
Otherwise state pensions would eventually trend to infinity, which is a bit much

remember the big beautiful oil tankers that the Iranian counterparties “gifted” Trump as a gesture of good faith? first eight and then ten and then twenty and god knows how many now? and how these oil tanker gifts were how Trump admin knew they were dealing with serious people on the Iranian side?
Yeah, what really happened according to everybody is that Pakistan negotiated a bilateral deal with Iran to get a few Pakistani-flagged ships through the Strait and because Pakistan was also acting as intermediary to Iranians since before Trump announced any negotiations or really seemed to care about this (mediated back-channels naturally being open to Iran from early days), Trump decided somehow that the Pakistani oil tankers were a gift to himself and cited them to a press conference as proof of ongoing negotiations. WEIRD.

for days Trump has been referring to negotiations that the Iranians have denied, at one point even speaking of “meetings” that are not real, and today he announced a ceasefire request (also not real) from somebody he calls the “new regime president” of Iran. THIS IS WEIRD.
