Protect Toronto! A friend asked why I keep posting this. - The issue is urgent; - My posts are less intrusive than the Protect Ontario (and Build Canada Strong) propaganda. - My messages don't cost taxpayers a nickel, unlike partisan government ads. Protect Toronto!

Apparently none of this decline was a problem under right-wing mayors (who created it), but now that we have a mayor who's working on fixing it, Lilley's blaming her. A lot like the MAGAs who only worry about the deficit/debt when a Democrat is president.

1/ Toronto is in decline — and it’s visible everywhere you look. Potholes that never get fixed. Overflowing garbage cans on every corner. A TTC that doubles as a homeless shelter. Endless congestion. Rising costs for worse service. It’s time for change at City Hall. 🧵

Clark, worth noting, one of the few people to unambiguously have been found (by the Integrity Commissioner) to have violated the province's ethics rules for MPPs in relation to the Greenbelt scandal. The IC's report was never acted on by the legislature.

NEW: Government House Leader Steve Clark chides NDP Leader Marit Stiles for her comments yesterday. "That's the type of rhetoric that lowers the tone in this house" and has "no place in the legislature," Clark says. Stiles: That's rich coming from a government that's under RCMP investigation. #onpoli

Continuing good news: 1/3 of the way through 2026, homicides still collapsing. Toronto had had *six*. Boston has had *three*. NYC down 27% from 2025. Philadelphia down 38%. Baltimore down 10%. Each on pace for literally the lowest murder rate of all time in their city. 1/3

She’s not wrong, any reasonable person accepts that Canada has a racist past in its treatment of indigenous people, and that importantly the country has changed for the better over time. What’s amusing is that some in her own campaign orbit and the conservatives she’s aligned with seem to think the smart play is to deny that basic reality altogether, and that elections can be won on that basis.

🚨WATCH: Caroline Elliott CONFIRMS her view that Canada “has a racist past.” Not my words, hers. This is the “conservative” you want leading the BC Conservative Party?
