@KiltedKunt Why wouldn't/shouldn't an island like Shetland have close links with its closest landmass neighbour? Culturally they're very similar too, far more so than Shetland and England. Again, very ignorant thinking rather than outward and ambitious for people in those areas.

Shetland is far closer to Norway than London. Yet look at how totally disconnected it is. Because generations of English politicians have never understood Scotland, never invested in it, and we have not the European links we should have had created.

Went to Bradford last night to see The Bodyguard musical, which was great. But the walk from the car park to the theatre was most unpleasant: a constant stream of intimidating young men, on e-bikes & on foot, pestering us to give them money. We shouldn’t have to live like this.
