Just called @USPS trying to figure out why my package went from my Queens to my local dist. point in Pittsburgh only to go back to Queens. The agent could only tell me "anyways it should be there eventually". Excuse me?! You wasted your time, my time, and my tax money! @elonmusk

🚨BREAKING: ANTIFA has vandalized a TPUSA tabling event featuring @TheOfficerTatum, destroying our camera gear, tent, event signage, flipping tables, and assaulting our staff. We are extremely lucky no one was seriously injured in the melee. While our people were under attack, police stood aside and did nothing. Our team is understandably shaken up, but they assure me they will not back down. UC Davis is probably the most militant school in the country, with the largest Antifa presence. When I spoke there in March of 2023, Antifa foot soldiers vandalized the school, smashed windows and fought the police. What we have is a pattern, with no signs of improvement. This has gone on long enough. Violent vigilantes like these only fester and grow when they're allowed to act with impunity like at UC Davis. Arrests need to be made. Radical anarchists will keep resorting to more and more violence if they think doing so will stop conservatives from speaking. UC Davis must credibly show they are willing to protect the constitutional right to free speech and free assembly on a public campus. If they won't, then the Trump Administration should investigate their continued receipt of federal taxpayer dollars. Get it fixed, @ucdavis
Turning Point USA@TPUSA

Our "Prove Me Wrong" tabling event with @TheOfficerTatum at UC Davis was completely destroyed by violent protesters. They stole the canopy, ripped down banners, smashed foam boards, and even tried to steal the iPad and laptop of a @tpusastudents field rep. TPUSA students were shoved and had objects thrown at them—while police did nothing. Only after the damage was done did law enforcement finally form a perimeter. This is the reality of free speech on campus. Credit: @joearcher_ @davidllamas_

@EmmanuelAcho Ok, so Tyreek maybe should've left his window down but he still gave the guy his info... But even still, these damn cops are on a trip, especially the little short guy. I promise there are some good cops, but there's way too many fuckwads like these guys.

Articles like these can leave customers confused and hurt our bottom line. We all can't take hits like @Costco. Sounds like the woman in the article just needed money and new content

@dailydot you should put your update at the top of the article or remove it entirely. "Instant Ink" is, in fact, an optional thing. These kinds of articles are harmful to small businesses, like my day job, that sells these legitimate products. dailydot.com/news/costco-hp…

Ten months ago, we launched the Vesuvius Challenge to solve the ancient problem of the Herculaneum Papyri, a library of scrolls that were flash-fried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Today we are overjoyed to announce that our crazy project has succeeded. After 2000 years, we can finally read the scrolls: This image was produced by @Youssef_M_Nader, @LukeFarritor, and @JuliSchillij, who have now won the Vesuvius Challenge Grand Prize of $700,000. Congratulations!! These fifteen columns come from the very end of the first scroll we have been able to read and contain new text from the ancient world that has never been seen before. The author – probably Epicurean philosopher Philodemus – writes here about music, food, and how to enjoy life's pleasures. In the closing section, he throws shade at unnamed ideological adversaries – perhaps the stoics? – who "have nothing to say about pleasure, either in general or in particular." This year, the Vesuvius Challenge continues. The text that we revealed so far represents just 5% of one scroll. In 2024, our goal is to from reading a few passages of text to entire scrolls, and we're announcing a new $100,000 grand prize for the first team that is able to read at least 90% of all four scrolls that we have scanned. The scrolls stored in Naples that remain to be read represent more than 16 megabytes of ancient text. But the villa where the scrolls were found was only partially excavated, and scholars tell us that there may be thousands more scrolls underground. Our hope is that the success of the Vesuvius Challenge catalyzes the excavation of the villa, that the main library is discovered, and that whatever we find there rewrites history and inspires all of us. It's been a great joy to work on this strange and amazing project. Thanks to Brent Seales for laying the foundation for this work over so many years, thanks to the friends and Twitter users whose donations powered our effort, and thanks to the many contestants whose contributions have made the Vesuvius Challenge successful! @cctvidiots Gotta be murder. The blood spatter on the wall is from an exit wound, but the gun is in the deceased's right hand. While it's possible to imagine them sitting faced away from the desk, they appear to have been left handed due to placement of other objects like the cigs and can.
