I’ll never understand why people go into a game not wanting to engage with it fully. Like, why do you need all these *incentives* and *reasons* to play well and learn the mechanics. Is playing well itself not a good enough reason? Is that not the point of a video game???

@1stPr0t0type There are people that I consider too forgiving towards AH making balance changes that break the game for the worst, but those people on a single topic have been more constructive than OhDough has been period. Any time I catch a video of his, he's just bitching and insulting.

This guy is so insufferable that I'm even seeing some of the harshest critics of the game starting to dislike him. It gets to a fucking point, dude.

There are people who are over looking the balance changes over 1 positive that is negated thanks to durable damage, but in all honesty.. shut the fuck up. "Glazedivers" are annoying as all shit, but they were still more constructive on one topic than you on your entire channel.

Okay, so, I'm not going to say the Tower of Babel was a real thing that existed, but this is ignoring the point of the mythological story. Nimrod believed in God, but considered himself to be his equal. He built the Tower of Babel so he could challenge God. By compelling people to participate in its construction, Nimrod was essentially making people turn away from God to trust in their own strength, and defy his command to spread around the world and multiply. God responded by confounding their languages and forcing them to scatter, and destroyed the tower to humble them. It wasn't that they were trying to reach the heavens. It's why they did it. A bunch of bronze age savages thought they could do the impossible. Thousands of years later, after the advent of Newtonian physics, and a World War which showed mankind why they needed to quit acting like apes fighting over a banana tree, Man was ready to reach the heavens. Not to prove he was better than God, but to better understand His creation. I'm not even a Bible-thumping Christian and I know this. Even if you don't take the story literally as an actual historical event, there's a lesson and warning against the folly of unchecked ambition and people concerting toward impossible goals doomed to disaster. Reaching the heavens is possible, but not before you're ready. Cautionary tales against trying to do things before you're ready are common in mythology. The story of Bellerophon trying to fly on Pegasus to Mount Olympus is one such story.

This part is actually just funny to me. God, apparently, didn't want us to reach him, so he destroyed a tower and made us speak different languages. Yet Kenneth Copland still speaks English. The one guy that should stop speaking English.

@ghostbabelART I really do not like what's happening to HD2, but this guy is just a dumbass. He really would rather insult without adding anything to the conversation than actually be worth listening to. The only time he had a point was when the game fried his CPU. But that's it. Nothing more.

This guy just hates what helldivers inherently is btw. He uses his (annoyingly) loud voice to try and mold the game into what he wants, rather than just get better at what’s already there.

If people want weak point damage to be more widely accepted, then maybe give light pen guns a small bonus to weak points while also adding a mag or 2. Reward great aim with a better ammo economy. And let the medium pen guns be the "I can't aim for shit" guns.

I've been seeing a bunch of people acting like removing the option to kill a Hive Guard with medium pen weapons was what somehow made the whole game better. The devs keep telling y'all not to tell each other how to play, yet that's all they do. Even the devs. But I got an idea.

Helldivers 2 is a game where youtubers hyperbolically tell community things are terrible and that shooting weak points, an aspect thats been insisted upon since before the games launch, is not possible or a viable option. We could do with less youtubers is my point.
