@ThatLymeGuy Our expulsion policy is not changing the only change is we will now be reviewing potential members for expulsion on a monthly basis not annually. We had to update our bylaws of the timing change which triggers a notification to our members.

My argument was about the language. I called CS and they said all our accounts will receive this. I asked why and she just said policy. I asked well it reads as if we are under investigation and she said, I don’t see anything on our side but maybe it’s somewhere I can’t see. The wording makes TFCU a Judge, Jury and Executioner should YOU and YOUR SELECTED BOARD OF PEOPLE, deem a membership should be exiled. I understand if you get a court order that requires you to freeze/close an account but that is by the United States Judicial System. Not TFCU only. That is my problem with the wording. And immediate payment on loans due in full. To me, I see how this could be used for favoritism, or abuse. Maybe you have this setup for “other reasons” as a tactical safeguard for something I’m not privileged to but, that wording is not acceptable, it reads as a direct threat. My wife read it too and we both said this isn’t right. As long as my accounts are fine, I’m fine. I don’t agree with that wording but I’m suspecting it has another use for reasons that most people don’t have to worry about. Again I say it all the time to you guys. We love and promote Tower to everyone who is looking for a new bank. You are our primary bank, we have had nothing but positive experiences, in person, online, on the phone. IMO you are the #1 bank/CU in the US. That letter was not clear, title vs the actual words in the letter were contradicting. It reads as an update in title but as you read down it gets aggressive and if you read between the lines, what do you come up with? A threat to close accounts and demand immediate payment in full at anytime TFCU deems. I don’t agree with that unless a court orders it because of a crime committed. That’s all. It’s your business, your methods and your policy, not mine. We took it as a veiled threat. Thank you and the CS/VP for reaching out to clear this up. Hope you all have an amazing 2026!

@ThatLymeGuy Just to clarify, you haven't been expelled. This letter was to inform you & all members we have changed our Expulsion Policy w/in our bylaws. Bylaw changes have to be communicated to all members. The first line of the letter explains "share an important update about policy"

This is a red warning in my IC mind. This is a direct threat and retaliation against me because of a certain thing I submitted to the government. This is a precursor to demand debt be paid in full upon termination per the last page wording. It clearly states upon termination ALL debts be paid in full. Trying to bankrupt me huh? Threatening it huh? Two days before Christmas too. Fuck this country. Everyone is tooooooooo slllllooooooooooooowwww and draaaaaaaaaaaaawn oooooooooooout. Fuck’um good thing I got backup money, non-fiat and a few wealthy friends.

One day, Imma do a storytime about how @TowerFCU refuse to deposit my money in my account only to charge me overdrafts for payments that wouldve been paid had I made the deposits. They really hate money, well my money for sure.

When it comes time for my funeral, Imma make sure @TowerFCU are my honored pallbearers b/c they are impeccable at letting me down. Make sure I have it written in my final wishes that they get a nice plate at the repass and everything.. Y’all truly deserve it.

Worst service ever @TowerFCU I been trying to cancel a doble schedule payment from an external account on my car loan, several phone calls that take forever to answer, all they do direct me go online, doesn’t work, I complain and all they say “I’m sorry, have a nice day”😡

@TowerFCU After being a member for more than 20 years, I am going to close my account. Your service is down the toilet! I requested to close my IRA (w/ Diamond) which matured 3/6 - didn't happen - now I'm stuck another five years and I NEED that money!!!
