@Tr0jxN @Wato1876 afaik feather just "overlooks" stopping ad video playback while in the background, ads are just videos and they dont run anything, so its mostly harmless for the end user i dont believe they run their own miners or anything, thatd be a huge deal if they did

You can use Feather, or Prism, or maybe even the default launcher, but NEVER CurseForge 😭 As to not vaguepost, they have outwardly supported the IDF for a starter.

@lucassplus @Wato1876 How so? I will immediately say I don’t know a lot about software, but what feather was doing in the background SPECIFICALLY sounds really scummy—the launcher having ads bundled makes sense, but allowing for it to use the computer’s hardware to the extent that it was is bad
