Jill and I are relieved, alongside millions of others around the world, that Sagui Dekel-Chen is finally reunited with his family after 498 painful days. I am proud that the deal we negotiated has held, paving the way for the release of hostages. My thoughts and prayers are with the remaining hostages and their families who have all been through hell. We hope all will be reunited in the weeks ahead.

@TjAllard I walked outside after the 1st plane hit to find everyone in the street looking South on Thompson… in time to see the 2nd plane hit & the towers collapse- that hour felt like slow motion.

For those who were in NYC on 9/11, what moment or detail do you remember most vividly? I remember walking down Sixth Avenue, and there were no cars, no sounds at all…like time had stopped. That day changed my life in so many ways. I’d love to hear your story.
