@EdnaKrabapple1 @tombennett71 @snp @JohnSwinney I know of many people who are not reporting incidents because the paperwork is lengthy and nothing is done anyway. Some are being assaulted 4 or 5 times in one day

@tombennett71 This is likely the tip of the iceberg. As a #Scottish teacher who's been assaulted & who's witnessed colleagues being assaulted, I've no confidence in @SNP doing anything about it! What of the other kids witnessing these violent assaults? What of their needs? @JohnSwinney

The tragedy is that we absolutely know how to solve this problem. It's hard work, but not rocket science. Children need to be taught habits of successful behaviour, clear boundaries, and predictable consequences. They need to know that the adults in the room with them are in charge, and that they care for them.

@JeffreyBlacksh6 @SeanBattyTV Honestly not disputing what a great idea and resource, but the assumption that teachers should buy them for their classes rankles a wee bit. Just my personal feelings!

@TraceyMillar19 @SeanBattyTV The design of the calendar is brilliant. Is it 1 calendar per class? I would encourage this as it may spark a lifelong interest. In my case, it developed from a simple diary to a 56-year unbroken amateur record, which is wanted by the Met office when I am no longer around.

@JeffreyBlacksh6 @SeanBattyTV I love the idea but I already buy loads of stuff for school and cannot keep adding to the list, lots of teachers feel the same! Purchasing things with your own money to do your job???

@SeanBattyTV I wish something like this was around when I started recording the weather in 1969 in the Paisley area, and I have not missed a day recording the weather here since.
