They decided to NOT choose Rita Rubovszky for Education Minister after coordinated backlash in Hungarian society, instead they chose Judit Lannert who's Facebook profile got popular for supporting Ukraine and the LGBT. The reality is the National-Sovereignist side lost, and Magyar Péter promised to deliver EU funds. Its one the pillars for why so many voted for him. Well nothing comes free, and those on the Tisza and even the Fidesz side shouldn't be surprised. To obtain the funds you need to concede to European Union demands in order to obtain them. If every Nation in Europe held NO defiance to these laws, why should Hungary with 9 million population stop it? People voted for this, this is what they will get. Although, I want to make it clear, that we shouldn't fall to 'doomerism' over this. Nothing is lost that cannot be undone. If Magyar Péter concedes on migrants that's when things become difficult, but signs show that here there won't be a compromise. However, within reason Hungary has had to concede. We will see just how much we had too, I expect more bad news in the future. But I still have the feeling that Hungary even after all the concessions.. will still be the most Conservative Nation in the European Union. Which tells you volumes how far the other Nations have gone.
