Not nearly my biggest month, but definitely my most consistent. Eliminated (mostly) the FOMO trades and am just trading my setups. Sized down massively in this market. TY @StocksToTrade @timothysykes and maybe mostly @TraderBryce for the weekend webinar and the daily YT

@drummermax123 INHD was nearly 1000% above VWAP at highs and never traded under it once post 10:00 am. Definitionally they did not win unless they held for a multi 1000% drawdown. T12 is also just as bad for shorts since they have to pay interest every day its halted

Today, the SEC approved a major FINRA rule change that eliminates the Pattern Day Trader (PDT) rule and replaces it with a new intraday margin system.
sec.gov/files/rules/sr…
📷 What’s Being Removed
The $25,000 minimum account requirement for day traders
📷 What’s Replacing It
A new intraday margin framework that:
Measures risk in real time (or end-of-day) instead of counting trades
Requires traders to maintain enough equity based on actual exposure
Applies to all margin accounts, not just day traders
📷 How the New System Works
Firms monitor your account for intraday margin deficits (when risk exceeds equity)
📷 Implementation Timeline
Rule is approved now (April 2026)
FINRA will:
Announce an official start date
New rules go live ~45 days after that notice
Firms can phase in over up to 18 months
📷 Key Takeaway
The market is shifting from “how often you trade” to “how much risk you take.”
This is a huge structural change—it opens the door for more traders while still enforcing discipline through real-time risk management.

This week, and this month tbh, should teach you that you don't NEED to trade all the time, let the best trades come to you and you can actually live better AND earn more money than those who sit in front of their multi-minor setup all day and night trying to take scraps to justify all the time they're putting in.
Trading does NOT have to be time-intensive, especially in choppy markets like this so be sure to adapt to the market and don't try to moose your will on it like too many degenerate gamblers do...don't waste your life away as I actually outperformed bigtime lately by trading less! #qualityoverquantity

This post is great. A few weeks ago I was journaling and thought the same thing to myself - why am I not taking more advantage of the freedom that comes with this? Trying to do one fun thing throughout the day to remind myself of what freedom really means.
Enjoy your trip, Brian! Hope you're doing well

Last week I booked a last-minute flight and stay in Cabo less than 12 hours to take-off because I was freezing my ass off at home, feeling like a “hostage” to the market.
I forgot my swimming trunks and had to buy 2 of them for an eye-watering $450 USD (still wtf’ing at Grand Velas boutique)…
And STILL, it was much cheaper than sitting around grinding it out when the market wasn’t there for me.
Trading is one of the few professions where you can literally lose vacations/cars/houses etc AND, more importantly, TIME simultaneously while “working”.
And so, I often think to myself if I’m so willing to part ways with my trading PNL, then why not just spend that on something tangible.
I remember one of my biggest losing days in 2021, I decided to just buy the watch I wanted instead of waiting to feel “good” about my PNL.
Our perspectives warp when we stare at numbers and desensitize ourselves to the true ups and downs.
Whenever I spend the money it grounds me, “this is what this is worth”. Whenever I’m able to tip generously, especially in areas where the dollar goes farther, I feel more connected to my pursuit of trading for a living.
Serendipitously making someone’s day with an outlier tip is one of my favorite things to do. Extremely hard working people who don’t get appreciated often, meanwhile we lose their salaries in pajamas… it’s madness.
I just want to point out that I know people feel it, but don’t act on it. Try to exercise some of your freedoms as a trader and realize it’s okay to step away whenever you want and you don’t need permission to just do what you want when you want.
You’ll probably come to so similar conclusions for yourself.

Finally getting some consistency back in my trading. Currently 3 days into a 5 day fast, and I feel at peace with myself. Less FOMO, better trading, really the perfect reset. Wrote about it + recapped today, read it here:
