A democratic Senate and Congress passed the bill ending the subsidies Jan 1, 2026. If it were to continue, the cost of their healthcare would continue to go up, paid by everyone, without them knowing.
What we need is a plan to get healthcare costs down, not a plan for more subsidies.

Did you have the same complaint when Biden did nothing to help for 4 years? Yipee, he created a bunch of make-work jobs that produced nothing, and buried us in a ton more debt to do it.
I don't expect Trump to make all the numbers he gave, but I do expect at least some forward progress. It will take years to rebuild manufacturing here. If the companies announce they are going to build plants in the next couple years, I'll feel better about it.
I'm real unhappy about his "meanness" policies, and their stupid spending increases, as well as the tax breaks for the rich, so I won't be voting Republican in 2026. Not that it matters because live in a gerrymandered blue state, so my votes don't count.
