🇮🇳🇺🇸 Better.[com]’s Indian CEO Vishal Garg fired 10,000 Americans. He fired 900 of them in a 79-second Zoom call. Not a single Indian employee was fired that day. The company still has over 2,300 Indian employees, some in India, some on H-1B visas in America.

Amazon - who “eliminated” 30k roles between their October and January layoff waves has had 33,181 H-1B positions certified in FY26. If you can’t see what’s happening, your eyes are closed.

Stop calling the H-1B visa program “cheap labor.” It’s the opposite: companies must pay prevailing wage + $9K+ average sponsorship costs (fees, lawyers,etc.). Companies sponsor because they need top talent that’s hard to find here…not to cut corners. If they wanted cheaper labor… they would outsource.

@juicystar1908 Well done! As a reminder, an H-1B holder is not permitted to work outside their employer. This includes managing a self-owned rental property. They can own rental properties, as long as they are managed by a third party.

To H-1B visa holders, Do you really think that taking your listing off Zillow is going to stop me from finding you? I know where you illegally advertise your rental properties. If you recognize your listing history, get your suitcases ready and start looking for a one-way flight.

Freezing new H-1B visas in #Texas is short-sighted. We already face serious healthcare workforce shortages and struggle to meet patient demand. Public universities and health systems rely on H-1Bs to recruit physicians, nurses, scientists, and researchers. This will worsen staffing gaps, slow research, and harm patients—especially in underserved communities. This doesn’t protect Texans. It weakens Texas healthcare.

I saw this post on Reddit. One of the responses was telling everyone not to leave the US if they need visa stamping. Can you clarify for us? I thought they are required to stamp in their country of origin? Why would someone tell them not to leave if they need it? Not leaving would put them out of status, no?

February 2026 H-1B visa renewal interviews are pushed back to May 2027. This is buying 15 months for H-1B visa revocation analysts. Trust the plan and don't blackpill.

It’s literally faster and cheaper to just nearshore those roles to Mexico rather than wait+pay and run the risk of pissing off a government, or two in this case. We’re ramping 2 sites in MX as I type this. Monterrey and Guadalajara

People are waking up to the massive indian fraud schemes in Texas. There are residential homes that purport to sponsor dozens of H-1B visas. Only problem is, no workers, and it's not a work site. Every journalist in the country should be knocking on doors in Texas.
