@TonyR80348685 Yes, I never short. Even in downtrends I don't short. In uptrends nobody should be shorting especially not retail traders. In downtrends you can make money both ways but easier on the long side

This dynamic we saw today was textbook as newsletter readers know. 1) #ES_F forms a range (7565-7516 as posted) 2) The range will then Failed Breakdown downside (we trapped to 7507 overnight) 3) This is our long trigger. 4) The range then breaks up. ES does this over & over

We continue to track today's plan perfectly. 7516-7565 was the range given. Before ranges break, they trap (charting 101). 7516 failed breakdown was long trigger given explicitly. Todays targets were 7530, 7549, 7565 (hit). Bonus were 7570 (hit), 7579, 7598. Ride your runner

It remains a scalpers session in #ES_F with 7377 being a key shelf. I posted this morning 7377 recoveries see 7398. We recovered at 9:50AM, ran to ~7398. I then posted an hour ago the same trigger applies, we recovered.
Lock in some gains right now. 7398 above, then 7415+

Very slow action today in #ES_F and remains a scalpers market with 7377 and 7398 being key. I posted hours ago that traps of 7377 are actionable. We recovered it, ripped to ~7398, rejected. Now stuck below 7377 again. Recoveries target 7398, 7415+. 7365, 7345 are supports now

We finally got a support shelf fail in #ES_F today. 7402 was morning support. I posted watch traps at 8am, and we trapped it, ran to 7422 1st target, sold. Sell targets were 7377(hit), 7363 (held exact), 7336 (watch traps). 7377 must reclaim with vol for a quick scalp up

We continue to dip down the levels nicely in #ES_F after *finally* losing a support shelf at 7402. We got our final trap long at 830am, ripped to 7422 1st target, then down we went. Sell targets were 7377, 7363, 7336 (watch traps). 77 reclaim to see a quick scalp to 90+

We finally have volatility in #ES_F and levels respecting well. 6867-70 was support as posted. It held. I then posted 6891 had to reclaim to see 6904. We reclaimed, and hit 6904. ***Protect gains here lvl to lvl leave runner***

We've arrived at 6866-70 next support down in #ES_F as we continue the "elevator down" retrace posted about at 9:19AM. Never changes for ES and always repeats the same boring cycle. No rally until we get a reclaim. This means recovering 6891 now to see 6904+. 6850 below 6866

Closing update #ES_F: Full week of rangebound action as we build structure for next trend leg. 6815-17 reclaim triggered long and we ran to 6857 target. 6815-17 remains support, bulls must reclaim 6838 to run. Newsletter out soon talking the pattern forming here & entries

Volatility has made for excellent trading the last 4 days in #ES_F. After hitting 6805 support, I posted 6815-17 reclaim triggers long. Targets were 6838, 6847, 6857, all hit. Protect gains now. 6868, 6889 backtests incoming next week

There's 6857 hit exact in #ES_F (6856.75). After hitting 6805, I posted 6815-17 recovery triggers long. Targets were 6838 (hit), 6847 (hit), 6857 (hit). Easy 40 points 6868, then 6884-89 are above. It was loss of 6884-89 that started the sell. Recovery starts next macro trend up

With longs now +60 points minimum, little to do but ride runner. Multi-day trend close. Everyday is the same: 1) I don't short 2) I wait for an "elevator down" sell (like last eve, or this morning to 6838) 3) These end with a short squeeze but *only* on a Failed Breakdown/reclaim

Note: Obviously not much to do up here now. As I wrote in my newsletter 4pm yesterday my edge is to wait for *exactly* what we saw last evening. A deep flush to trap bears. After we get paid on the squeeze, nothing to do but wait for the next one and do it over again

Earnings in the books for #ES_F and bulls did what they had to do. 6869 was key support posted this morning. We flushed it 320PM. I posted at 3:36PM bulls had to recover with force to run, they did. *Protect gains*

Closing update #ES_F: Earnings incoming at 4pm and 430PM so size down. Big inflection point here at 6869 and bulls need to accept this and recover with force. Otherwise next leg down sees 6841. Newsletter was sent out 1hr ago in preparation for earnings.
