Execution Update 📊 As you’ve probably noticed over the past few weeks, differences in spread and execution across accounts have had a noticeable impact on my equity. Backtesting showed a clear edge built on 1:2 risk:reward - but real execution tells a slightly different story. It’s not just commission. The main issue is: • Spread differences • Execution differences between my master and slave accounts Over time, this distorts outcomes and reduces expectancy. Example trade: • 5 pip stop • 10 pip target • $500 risk Result: • Losses come in closer to -$600+ • Wins come in closer to +1.6–1.8R That’s no longer a true 1:2 system. Fix going forward: I’ll be adding a +1 pip buffer to every trade. So instead of sizing off 5 pips: • I’ll size off 6 pips (but stop remains at 5 pips) • Target becomes 12 pips This accounts for: • Spread • Execution differences • Commission (minor) Fewer trades will hit target - that’s expected. But each winning trade now delivers what it’s supposed to. It won’t be perfect - but it brings execution much closer to how the system is designed to perform. Small adjustment - big impact over time 📈

Never expected a month with a win rate like this, but trading has a way of humbling you. Took a lot of hits, but accounts are still intact - that’s what matters. Confidence took a hit too, but backtesting has helped rebuild it. A lot of lessons taken from this month. Moving into May with a few key adjustments: - Removing USDCAD - spread differences across accounts negatively impact expectancy, and the win rate isn’t high enough to justify it. - Adjusting execution - adding a +1 pip buffer to account for spread, costs, and copier latency. - Returning to previous risk model - better aligned with the sequence of wins and losses. Focus now is on executing, managing risk, and letting the model play out.
