Congress is not serious. We are voting on a stock trading ban for members of Congress… BUT Republicans added voter-ID in the legislation. Not to get Dems to vote for voter-ID, but to get them to vote against the stock trading ban, so they can use it in the Nov. election.

According to a CaringBridge page created by her aunt, Ava unexpectedly had a seizure recently. Testing showed a lesion on her brain, and later imaging found a mass in her left lung. Ava underwent a lung biopsy in Macon and has been referred to specialists at MD Anderson in Houston. Her family said Thursday night that the biopsy had been sent to the appropriate team and they were waiting to learn when Ava would be evaluated. Ava, who plans to study nursing at UGA, is described by her aunt as a gifted athlete, an outstanding student and a young woman with a deep love for Jesus, her family and her friends.
