I have called an Emergency Meeting of the @GainesvilleGov City Commission for 3/16 at 3:30 to discuss our response to COVID-19.

There is now a confirmed case of COVID-19 in Alachua County, but according to the Health Department the circumstances are very unique and the risk is low, so there is no plan to close schools at this time.
