New in Swift 5.5: We can now use the #️⃣if compiler directive inline within expressions, which can be particularly useful when working around platform differences when using SwiftUI 👍 Here's a quick new article with a few examples 🚀 swiftbysundell.com/articles/condi…

LocalizedStringKey in #SwiftUI can now contain Markdown. Text initializer with LocalizedStringKey is called when you create a Text view with a string literal, which means that you can now pass Markdown directly to a Text view! #WWDC21

I've been so busy that I forgot to celebrate my 4-year anniversary of writing Swift articles in February 😅 But, I just passed another big milestone — @swiftbysundell now has over 450 freely available articles! 🤯🎉 I really love being able to share my work with the community 😀

I got this electric bike and took it past the snow line up behind my house for the first. Tons of fun! It actually did really well up in the snow.

In Xcode, if you start typing in ".ign" (in #SwiftUI) and autocomplete it, what does the code editor create for you? (Xcode 12.2)

Halfway done (25,000 words)! 🎉 With extra writing time today I was able to get back on track for @NaNoWriMo. 🥂

It's 6:47 am and instead of using the extra hour to sleep in, I wrote 764 words for @NaNoWriMo! 📝 I've wanted to try it each November for the past few years, but 2020 really provided that extra time at home to write. 😬

@twostraws @PinkerStraws You have me second guessing myself 😂 2-4 and 4-2 are the same by symmetry so they can’t be the answer (assuming there is a single answer). It is impossible for a 5-1 without just one team scoring at least two in a row. 3-3 is only possible if neither or both score 2+ is a row

Preparing for a school test, @PinkerStraws was asked a lovely question that I wanted to share: - Two teams play soccer. - Six goals in total were scored. - We know only one team manages to score two goals in a row. Which of the following *can't* be the final score?
