I was saddened to hear of the passing of Brian McGarry. In addition to his long career in business, Brian cared very deeply about our city and served as a school board trustee, regional councillor, and member of Kiwanis. He also supported a number of important philanthropic organizations and helped bring the Senators to Ottawa. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. C'est avec tristesse que j'ai appris le décès de Brian McGarry. Outre sa longue carrière dans le secteur des affaires, Brian était très dévoué à notre ville et a été conseiller scolaire, conseiller régional et membre du Kiwanis. Il a également soutenu un certain nombre d'organisations philanthropiques importantes et a contribué à la venue des Sénateurs à Ottawa. Je tiens à offrir mes sincères condoléances à sa famille et à ses amis.
