@adam_stanley His conviction may not be a slam-duck. Was he on medication? Was he concussed after the hit and roll-over? I'm interested in what his lawyer advises him to do. So long as he doesn't do that 'statement from a hostage' kind of scripted apology from the first accident!

Trump is utterly disgusting. Surely we cannot be far from the time when King Charles refuses to be involved in Trump’s attempts to use a significant 🇺🇸 anniversary for his own ends. Just take today - for a US President to say “I’m glad he’s dead” of a man who has devoted his life to public service is beyond vile. And his endorsement of Orban (farewell any notion of not interfering in other countries’ politics) puts him in the Putin camp once more, furthering the risk to Ukraine. Add in the endless insults of @Keir_Starmer and I really think the time has come for the 👑 to follow the Pope in being otherwise engaged .

I'm glad you're "good with what I wrote" as the sense of self-satisfaction is overwhelming.

Terrible how Trump's naked aggression against Iran has totally buried the fiasco that is his tariff war - the Supreme Court declaring his tariffs illegal and his ignoring that and outrageously hitting allies with a new ten percent levy.

What a fantastic evening celebrating @billcarrolltalk and 10 incredible years of broadcasting in Ottawa. 🎙️ The night was heartfelt, full of laughs, reflection, and some powerful moments looking back on Bill’s journey and the impact he’s had on this city. It was pretty amazing to see so many people come together — friends, leaders from across Ottawa, and even voices like Andy Kim — all there to celebrate someone who has means so much to the community. But what stood out the most was Bill’s deep love for his family. And of course, a special nod to the real brains behind the operation — his wonderful wife, Sylvie. ❤️ Congratulations, Bill. Ottawa is lucky to have you, and here’s to many more years on the air. @CFRAOttawa @ctvottawa

It’s been 25 years since we lost Al Palladini. A proud champion for Vaughan and King and a larger-than-life public servant who inspired so many of us to get involved. As a kid in 1999, I had the privilege of working on his campaign for the first time, seeing this authentic man in action. His generosity, vibrant personality, and big heart are what I will remember — a legacy that lives on in our community.
