This is fun! Let's do I-35. TxDOT is spending $8 billion to add 2 lanes to an existing highway. Daily traffic will go from 230k to 303k in 2045. So that's $108k per person. Instead, we could buy each of those 73,000 people that were going to use I-35 their own helicopter!
