Why is that? Secure elections IMO are paramount to having a secure and stable Republic. Election fraud has occurred and will continue to occur unless some measures are taken. No bill or act is perfect and always the unintended consequences however having a valid ID that matches voter rolls on the day of voting to me is a no brainer. Of course Senate Republicans don’t want it so they can continue to cheat and game the system for power and control.
