I'd argue the team is actually well constructed. How many teams can boast a better #2 defenseman than Thomas Chabot? How many teams can boast a better center group than Stutzle, Cozens, Pinto, Eller, Greig, Halliday? The team is well rounded at every position. And they have been analytically very good all season. How were they supposed to know that their former Vezina winning goalie was going to shit the bed?
