@ErikPitner @lablover6425 @WTHRcom @GovBraun It’s not an exemption… it’s a $150 credit however seniors had to apply for it by Jan 15. Why this wasn’t just deducted from the bill is beyond me. They know the age of the taxpayer/home owners.

How can my 75 year old mom’s property tax bill INCREASE more than 88% over last year? It’s a tiny house built in 1956 by my grandparent in a totally neglected Indianapolis neighborhood! Where’s the tax relief that was promised to senior homeowners last fall @GovBraun ?

@TravisShotIt @GovBraun Check the assessed value of the house. Check any recent sales in her neighborhood. Appeal the assessment if it went up that much. They hate dealing with appeals unless it is high dollar property usually.

@TravisShotIt @WTHRcom @GovBraun Property taxes can only be 2% of the value of the home. If you homestead it is 1%. Show the numbers to prove it went up 88% in one year.

IMPD is investigating a fatal crash on Sherman Dr. & Washington St.. A car became airborne as it went through the intersection, crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle resulting in that driver's death. The driver of the first vehicle is in critical condition @WTHRcom

@SSN_BallState I was at Ball State in the late 80's and early ninety's. We had to sleep by the ticket booth to get tickets and the arena was sold out every game. Not to say, I experienced a team that almost beat Illinois and UNLV. Those were some great times.

We discovered these insane prices @FlamingoVegas last summer. This was after security denied me entry for having cargo shorts on despite nothing in their dress code against it. I had to wait for my daughter to bring my trunks down from our room before they would let me in!
