Here’s my take on this forum: @MazzeiMike seems to be the front runner at this moment. Mazzei is 1000% against green energy, which tells me he’s likely going to be backed by the Oil & Natural Gas Industry, which is big in Oklahoma. Presumably, he’s going to win because of that. His vision of education & making sure we get our schools back to reading better, that’s where he has my vote. @JakeMerrick4Gov is definitely a solid second place. He has great views on keeping the regulations down and seems to really want to make Oklahoma less regulated. His comment about making immigration easier, taking priority over remove illegals, sets me back. I know it falls in lock-step with removing regulations, but Oklahoma taxpayers do not want to fund illegals. @ChipKeatingOK is riding his daddy’s name. He stinks like a RINO. He makes some decent points but it seemed more like he was just taking points from Merrick and Mazzei. I do like his backing the blue comments. He did seem to attack Speaker McCall a tremendous amount. Shall see though. @CharlesMcCallOK is a RINO. He starts to say things and then fumbles and changes course. Worries me tremendously. To me it appeared as if his health or cognitive functioning was off. Speaker McCall definitely likes to take credit for things that he had nothing to do with. Gives me that Pelosi vibe. @gentnerdrummond is a Democrat and should be in the primary with @CyndiMunsonOK. Drummond is the worst thing to happen to Oklahoma politics. Anyone that votes for this moron, should change their voter registration immediately. I’m leaning towards Mazzei at this moment. Who do yall have?

What worries me about these ‘negotiations’ is that Iran specifically asked for Vance. Trump obliged. According to information leaked to the press, JD Vance is opposed to the Iran Conflict. I truly hope he does/says what needs to be done to get Americans what is needed & to get the Strait of Hormuz opened. US Navy ships have entered the Strait to clear out mines that were laid down by Iran, who forgot where they put them and doesn’t have the capability of finding them either. Also, as of 10:48A.M. ET, Iran is threatening to target US Navy ships entering the Strait, for failure to coordinate with Iran. A Foreign Ministry Spokesperson told Khabar Network that “if the vessel continues to move, it will be targeted within 30 minutes and the Iranian-American negotiations will suffer”. Doesn’t sound like Iran truly wants to talk. Just threaten. bit.ly/4ml6Uyy

@holdasek @Churched360 @rawsalerts Cite your sources please. I’ve seen nowhere stating 102,000-103,000 Australian lives were lost in the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Iraqi War, and the Afghanistan War combined.

Wounded / injured: about 220,000–230,000+

@Travyx @Churched360 @rawsalerts So no apology then? Any wonder the US and Trump are the least favourable under any other previous President. Check Pew Centre and Gallup global poll - but I suppose that’s fake news?

#Oklahoma 👇 No to Drummond. No to McCall
Okie_Rancher@Okie_Rancher

People have asked why I won’t vote McCall; he’s a good guy from all reports and has experience. Just being successful and wealthy shouldn’t be held against him, right? Oh, there’s a reason. During the 2017 session McCall buried a rule change deep inside Rule 9.1 in the “rules resolution” that gets voted on at the beginning of each legislative session. It was a change presented to House members and characterized as more of an error correction just merely about “timing.” One little word change … from “shall” to “may.” Before the change, even if a bill failed to make it out of committee legislators could move it back onto the floor and the speaker had to hear the motion, aka “shall.” The change to ”may” now gave the Majority Floor Leader discretion to NEVER schedule a motion rather than requiring them to be scheduled. Now any bill can be left in committee to die with no way for legislators to force a vote or hearing, even if every other legislator in the building wants it heard. It was the most significant power shift in the Oklahoma legislature in the last fifty years. It passed because members didn’t fully grasp what they were voting for. They were misled, by McCall and O’Donnell. This consolidated all real legislative power in committee chairs and the speaker. Now this small few completely control what bills are heard. Lobbyists and special interests only have to pay off a few, rather than convincing the many. It hurt Oklahomans, it neutered any truly independent Republican voices who didn’t tow the party line, and it made it easier and cheaper for the Tysons, oil and gas lobby, banking lobby, ANY lobby with funds and influence to kill any bill they wanted with no more than two phone calls and a big check to the next campaign. Aside from the speaker and committee chairs, suddenly, no other opinion mattered. Today, no other opinion matters still. It’s not that he skimmed or used the position for personal gain… what he did was worse. He intentionally hurt democracy to consolidate power. He made sure your bill won’t be heard on the legislative floor unless those in power approve it. So no, I won’t be voting for McCall.

If I had to choose from this poll, it’d have to be @MazzeiMike. -Speaker McCall definitely isn’t it. -Chip is riding on his dad’s last name. Whether anyone believes that, it’s definitely not because of his time with OHP. Even though I appreciate his service. -Gentner Drummond is a leftist lunatic. If he receives a single vote, it’s because he’s a democrat.

Negative. The President has the ability to end treaties. The North Atlantic Treaty of 1949 is what started NATO. The treaty no longer benefits the United States. Therefore, the US no longer needs to be a part of NATO. The only issue with leaving NATO is in 2024, Joe Biden signed a law that states the President must have 2/3 of the Senate to leave NATO. So for the sake of the argument, Trump likely isn’t going to leave nato, but rather he will get NATO to agree to a set of terms that are more beneficial to the United States.
