I wonder if the NHL is aware that the playoffs start in just more than 48 hours. Very unfair to people who are traveling from out of town to see games, or for people who are trying to organize their lives around when puck drop is. Not fair to the teams either, for that matter.

They wrote us off. We flipped the script.

I had a chat with Sid yesterday. He told me what pushed him most in recent seasons is the thought of hearing the noise of the Pittsburgh crowd when he, Geno Malkin and Kris Letang take the ice in a playoff game again. He will get his wish. The Penguins are headed to the playoffs.
