Carlos Ulberg calls Jiří Procházka a 'pretender' and fully rejects the notion that Jiří was showing mercy: “That’s bullshit, total bullshit. That’s fear… That wasn’t any kind of mercy… There was no mercy in there. He was full of fear, hesitation, and that’s what got him clipped. I think he’s a pretender. He knows that I know that he’s a pretender. When that word ‘merciful’ was fed into his mouth that night after… he went with it and played with it, and that was his excuse so that he could hopefully get a rematch. There is no way he gets that rematch.”

@arielhelwani The MMA fanbase hates this but he’s right. Jiri objectively just didn’t have the skill to beat Ulberg on Saturday night. Not only did he not have the skill, he didn’t have the heart. No grit, no finishing instinct. Nothing. Just sparked stiff in front of billions.

@travismichael82 @pepemoonboy No schd is already tax friendly. If you want to use dividends in your Roth IRA put it into something that has a higher yield and not tax advantaged

Dividend bugs LOVE $SCHD, so I ran the numbers on it with the same assumptions as my previous $VOO post. $500/month starting at age 25 until the average U.S. retirement age of 62. The assumptions: - Average retirement age: 62 - $SCHD annualized total return since inception (Oct 2011): 12.93% with dividends reinvested - $500/month for 37 years - Dividends reinvested, no withdrawals The results: - Total contributed: $222,000 - Portfolio value at 62: ~$4.41M - 95% of that is compound growth The dividend angle is where SCHD shines: - At a 3.46% yield, that's ~$152K/year in dividends - That's $12,718/month WITHOUT selling a share SCHD vs VOO at retirement: - $VOO: $6.17M portfolio, ~$73K/yr dividends - $SCHD: $4.41M portfolio, ~$152K/yr dividends $VOO builds a bigger pile. $SCHD pays you more to live on. Not financial advice. Just an analysis I did with the actual $SCHD returns since the funds inception.

I ran the numbers on what happens if you invest $500/month into $VOO starting at age 25 until the average U.S. retirement age of 62. The assumptions: • Average retirement age: 62 (per 2024 MassMutual survey) • $VOO annualized total return since inception (Sep 2010): 14.22% with dividends reinvested • $500/month, every month, for 37 years • Dividends reinvested, no withdrawals The results: • Total contributed: $222,000 • Portfolio value at 62: ~$6.17M • 96.4% of that is compound growth. Only 3.6% is money you put in Milestones along the way: • $100K by age 34 • $500K by age 44 • $1M by age 49 • $5M by age 61 Even at a more conservative 10% return (closer to the long-term S&P 500 avg), you’d still end up with ~$2.1M. The caveat: VOO’s 14.22% CAGR reflects 2010–2026, one of the strongest bull runs in history. Past performance ≠ future results. Taxes and inflation not included in my analysis. The takeaway: - $500/month. - Start at 25. - Let compounding do the rest. Not financial advice. Just an analysis I did with the actual $VOO returns since the funds inception.

@TheLongInvest Amazing insights. Thank you. I would like to think that the war essentially ended, and there is a lag for that to be correctly registered.

I remember between June - October and the market ran hot Some positions were jumping +100% in days and weeks People thought it was normal It was a red flag I said the seasonal weakness would come and that 2026 would be horrific for the market The seasonal weakness did come and it was tough for many and as the market was trying to find its feet in Jan, Earnings came and then the War Silver and precious metals gave us the early warning signs that things were not right We wanted one more rally in 2026 to help get people out of a difficult situation before the market corrected But Trump, Israel and Iran had other plans We did want one more chance to get a final market rally but this prolonged war is making it difficult for the market to find its feet There is only one hope now and that is an immediate end to the war Or the market crashes It is likely too late as $NVDA is slipping The Street in Sept and October told you the Bull market was only STARTING, we said prepare, have Cash, have US market hedges and have safe havens We prepared and even we are feeling it I can only imagine how those are feeling now who were deep in leverage thinking the bull market had only started We tried to prepare as best we could and shared this with everyone with X But 2026 is slipping It will wipe people out Now is not the time to take on unnecessary risk The only hope for the market now is for the War to end this week. God speed Christ is King

If Prochazka pulls this off against a bad style matchup like this, he starts to truly carve out his own legacy in this sport I'm leaning Ulberg due to the backwards movement with low kicks & counter power Now Pereira to Heavyweight, on the cusp of GOAT conversations if he wins
