I spent 8yrs coaching high school
& some of the best coaches I have coached against in my career were HS coaches. Some never caught the breaks that I have, but to see 3 (Oats, Hurley & Keatts) former HS Coaches make it to the F4 should serve as an inspiration to every HS Coach!

HIGH SCHOOL GUARDS: if you want to stand out among a EXTREMELY crowded field
1. DEFEND. The entire length of the floor! Do it aggressively!
2. Touch the paint FREQUENTLY!
3. Make open shots! Consistently!
4. PUT YOUR TEAMMATES in better positions! Often!
5. Make the post entry when it’s there! It will catch the coaches eye!
