@UndisScot Dervaig on Mull? If so, not too far from the stunning Calgary bay. Bigger than you think the island of Mull. Lots of places of interest and a haven for wildlife.

@jotechltd @RareImagery Stunning bike. Only ever seen a couple out in the wild back in the he day. The wee brother of the even rarer quadrangle I seem to remember. Preferred the styling of the PK though and both had the chunky looking landing gear forks.

@glr_1990 @Richyf321 I do and am fully loaded up on this one. Have been here for a good few painful years. A few management miss steps along the way but the tide surely turning here and commod price tailwinds really helping. The market will wake up before long, confident of that. Good luck all LTH’s!

@whu32 Fair enough for them to stop investment if they feel it’s not worth it. Same for JP Morgan I see with them threatening to stop huge uk investment if they feel over-regulation and taxes go too far. Maybe best way to deal with socialist government by pushing back firmly.

@Treespotter25 Yep. LAND just said that they will not go ahead with residential property in London if the social housing part is 35% as the numbers dont add up. They need it to drop to 20% to make it work. More regulations stopping homes being built.

Bought some more #INPP International Public Partnership this afternoon on the pullback, for a dividend yield of 6.91% paid quarterly and a discount to NAV of -16%.

@wheeliedealer Looks very good value for a well run asset. Low sentiment looks partly over-regulation fears if labour lurch to the left here and of course partly bond market. If yields do turn a corner, this looks increasingly good value and always a potential take out target for a big fish?

#GRI good HY Update and decent guidance to 2029. NTA Per share 290p (down due to bond yields) against 151p share price. ShareScope showing fwd Dividend Yield 5.8% rising to 6.1%; nice payout.

@whu32 Looks like fear of socialist over regulation giving GRI a kicking just now. Trading near a 50% discount that one. Looks well ran and now it has REIT status, divis should grow a bit. Sensible plan to reduce LTV from here. A bargain at these levels? Let’s hope a big US fish agrees!

@Treespotter25 Think markets are going to be a bit rocky for a while so opportunities will pop up. Could be an uncomfortable hold but as you say long term is the end game.

@whu32 Agree completely. Uk surely must tip into recession by the end of year with so many headwinds here. How deep, how long, time will tell. The current tax policy has pushed the laffer curve too far and there is a disincentive to try harder and succeed just now.

@FireRing_SM Best of luck with that kiln 3 coming on soon. Has the reconfiguration of kiln 1, (to implement operational improvements of kiln 2) been carried out yet? No update to whether kiln 1 is back on line yet.

@DamianShields1 Some picture that Damian. A cracker! Stayed in a pod with the family on that side of Eigg a few years ago and the views were stunning. Climbed the Sgurr also with clear conditions and one of the best 360 deg views in Scotland from up there.

@Robin25461631 @ShaunMi77480277 @Andrada_Mining @AnthonyViljoen previous promises of ramp up have been much slower than the market had hoped for. That expensive finance agreement is fleecing us at the minute until much higher tonnage processed. On the plus side, the 30 odd k hedge comes off near now and goantanag may come good with any luck!

@Woodywudpeck Well done on those averages! I did bottle it and sold, (in chunks) as it grew to a slightly twitchy proportion of the portfolio. Waiting on the recession that has been forecast for maybe 5 years but strong believe in comods super cycle over next decade or so. Good luck.

@Woodywudpeck If you wanted lower volatility. You do have a few miners. Research a good diversified mining fund like BRWM for good general mining exposure, good divi and less volatile than individual shares. A bit high just now though, (I sold mine due to this) and maybe wait for a pull back.

@Woodywudpeck You can do well against ftse 100 some days and then perform way under it on others. Nothing ever a straight line and often movements don’t make sense. Some make money from the emotional irrationality of the markets and spot when things are too high or too cheap. Tricky old game!

@whu32 One of my long term favourites this one. Noticed it wasn’t so adversely affected as some, ‘bond proxies’ as uk yields have risen of late. Should in theory be one of those buy and forget about holdings. That is until nice quarterly divi lands every 3 months! Good luck.

🚨 Sometimes the most compelling investment cases are hiding in plain sight… 👀 When you stack @Andrada_Mining’s Brandberg West project up against comparable #tungsten and #tin projects, the valuation disconnect becomes hard to ignore. Compare to say #SML & #TUN Here you have a company valued at roughly £91m, with exposure to tin, tungsten and #copper, ongoing drilling, exceptional high-grade intercepts and multiple future catalysts ahead… yet peers in the same thematic space are sitting on materially larger valuations 🤔 What makes it even more interesting is that Brandberg West is only ONE of three assets within the #ATM portfolio 🇳🇦 The market loves critical minerals stories tied to electrification, AI infrastructure and defence supply chains ⚡🔋🛰️ — and Andrada has direct exposure to all of those themes. At the same time, the company and @AnthonyViljoen still appears to offer what investors are always searching for in the small-cap mining space: ✅Early-stage leverage ✅Discovery upside ✅Re-rating potential ✅Strategic commodity exposure ✅A relatively low entry valuation compared to peers The comparison graphic below really puts things into perspective. Of course, always do your own research… but from a risk/reward perspective, this is exactly the type of setup that gets investors paying attention 👀 $ATM #AndradaMining #Tin #Tungsten #Copper #CriticalMinerals #MiningStocks #SmallCaps #AIM #Investing

@wheeliedealer Good to hear that. A bit unloved GRI currently. Challenging chart this last year. Real income generating asset though with decent inflation protection. Might get a bit more love when bond yields fall a bit. Touted by some as a potential take over candidate too.

#GRI got an extension on £540m of "core banking facilities" to 2033 and at a lower cost, saving £1m per year in finance costs.
