Today, I joyfully surrendered my life to Christ, and I’m overflowing with hope! I want to reach out with a heartfelt apology to anyone I’ve ever wounded or upset here on X. My past was tangled up in cursing, trash talk, and insults, but I’ve left that behind for good. That old me is gone. Now, I’m alive with a vibrant new heart and a clear, uplifted mind. 🤩 I’m thrilled for this incredible new chapter and can’t wait to share the light I’ve found with all of you! ✝️

Christian Apologetics took such a hit from a 19 yo woman against TWENTY of their apologists that they have to resort to character assassination, insults, and borderline obsession instead of actually responding to her arguments. Should tell you all you need to know

This is probably a long shot, but if anybody happens to be in DC this weekend and plans on visiting Arlington, I would love to see a fresh photo of my husband’s grave in Section 60. SSG Alan W. Shaw Section 60, Grave 8451 B Co 1/12 Cav, 1st Cavalry Division November 10, 1975 - February 9, 2007 There’s just something about knowing people still stop by, still say his name, still remember. 🇺🇸⭐🇺🇸

🚨 Detroit doctor who said 'Love being a pedo' pleads guilty to receiving child pornography after admitting he sexually abused a 3-year-old Lincoln Erickson, 32, of Farmington Hills, pleaded guilty this week to a federal charge of receiving child pornography. According to court records and the investigation, Erickson admitted to sexually abusing the 3-year-old child of a friend. He also sent messages expressing pedophilic ideation, including statements like “Love being a pedo” and fantasies about grooming children from babyhood. Erickson was a medical resident at a Detroit hospital. He faces sentencing on September 15, 2026, and could receive between 5 and 20 years in prison. He will also be required to register as a sex offender. He had previously been charged with domestic violence in 2024. When someone in the medical field someone parents are supposed to trust is accused of these crimes, it raises serious questions about oversight and accountability. What kind of sentence do you think is appropriate in a case like this?

You started our conversation. You have the freedom to leave if you’d like, but that does not help your case at all. You keep responding as if the question is, “Can Islam be interpreted peacefully?” But that was never the question. Of course many Muslims interpret Islam peacefully. The real question is: when violence is done in the name of Islam, is there material in the foundational sources that someone can appeal to? The answer is yes. That is why this debate exists. You brought up the Old Testament, but that comparison fails because Christianity is not founded on Moses as its final model. Christianity is founded on Christ. Christians do not spread the Gospel by applying ancient Israel’s civil war laws. The final Christian example is Jesus, and Jesus never led armies, never executed unbelievers, never conquered territory, and never commanded his followers to kill for the faith. When Peter used a sword, Jesus stopped him. So if a Christian commits violence in Jesus’ name, he has to move away from Jesus to justify it. But your own argument admits the problem with Islam. You say Muhammad preached peacefully for 13 years in Mecca. Fine. But why stop there? After Medina, Muhammad became a political and military leader. He led battles, governed a state, made treaties, punished enemies, and expanded power. That is not my bias. That is Islamic history. So the issue is not whether Muhammad ever suffered persecution. The issue is whether his full life gives later Muslims a political and military model. It clearly does. Your use of Quran 5:32 has the same problem. You quote the part about saving life, but the verse itself says it was decreed to the Children of Israel, includes exceptions for murder and corruption, and is followed immediately by 5:33, which gives severe punishments for those who wage war or spread corruption. So 5:32 cannot honestly be used as a blanket claim that Islam contains no religiously sanctioned violence. And saying “ask a Muslim scholar” is not a refutation. A scholar can give an interpretation, but he cannot delete the texts, the hadith, the legal tradition, or Muhammad’s military career. That is the distinction: A violent Christian contradicts the founder of Christianity. A violent Islamic extremist claims to imitate or apply parts of the founder’s political and military example. You can say he is wrong. You can say he misapplies it. But you cannot say the connection is imaginary. So no, this is not cherry picking. Cherry picking is quoting 13 peaceful years, ignoring Medina; quoting 5:32, ignoring 5:33; saying “Islam means peace,” while refusing to deal with the actual historical and textual evidence.

@lexi_trades1 I wouldn't mind at all. It doesn't affect game play anyway. It would remind me to not spend too much time on the PS5 as well.

After I converted to Christianity, my Muslim family asked me, “What would it take for you to come back to Islam?” The truth is, it’s not about debating Jesus or the Trinity. This isn’t about Christianity at all, it’s about the foundation of the Islamic house and the foundation of the faith. So here are 5 things I would need to see if I were to ever go back to Islam: 1.Show me the Kaaba was actually built by Abraham and Ishmael, using pre-Quran sources, archaeology, Jewish texts. Right now, you have to rewrite the Torah to make it fit. 2.Show me Muhammad was an Ishmaelite. You can’t inherit a covenant if you’re not in the bloodline. 3.Show me the Quran wasn’t altered under Uthman. If it’s perfectly preserved, why the burning of variants and standardization? 4.Show me clear prophetic continuity from the Old Testament to Muhammad. Not vague parallels, direct prophecy. If he’s the final messenger, the Bible should point straight to him. 5.Show me eyewitness accounts of Muhammad’s first revelation. Right now, it’s his wife convincing him after a traumatic cave experience, unlike other prophets who knew they were called. None of this is about Jesus actually. This is about Islam’s own claims. Because if the foundation is cracked, arguing about the furniture doesn’t matter. No Kaaba link. No Ishmaelite link. No preserved text. No prophetic line. No verified calling. I can’t go back with those questions unanswered.
