@Cantona_Collars Yep don’t disagree with that either. I don’t personally see much in it, if those youngsters are good enough then they’ll get their chance next season, if not then they won’t. I’m not going to get too excited about giving Malacia a 15 min cameo over a youngster.

@Cantona_Collars Depends which room he’s reading. If that gets the players even more onside than giving Kukonki 5 mins then long term it’s a good decision. I do agree I’d liked to have seen some more mins for the youngsters though.

@PH_CTID @R_o_M @JRH1865 Why have you put up a graphic that clearly shows 21-26 at the top then mentioned Fergie, when he’d been retired for 10 year at that point…?

@R_o_M @JRH1865 Are you sure you believe that? It doesn't line up with the facts. Fergie spent more in comparison to his competition and won less per season. He was also farming titles against PE teachers in the 90s. Before that United fans wanted him sacked for wasting fortunes.

This is an incredibly impressive haul of trophies, and I am not discrediting it at all. Bernardo and Stones are both legends of Manchester City, but this picture compared to that of Giggs/Scholes/Neville just shows how utterly insane Sir Alex Ferguson’s time at United has been.

@piersmorgan @_DeclanRice That’s because it’s PLAYER of the season Piers, not TEAM of the year. Henry and a Van Persie won it when playing for Arsenal in seasons where they didn’t win the league, shall we take those away?

@piersmorgan @_DeclanRice In my 15 years of following the premier league - NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS. Next give the best coach also to someone else. The POTY & MOTY goes to the ones who win the league, quite naturally dont you think???? What is going on. Haters just gonna hate but this is so unfair.

@Thenextantman @Hayles_101 Let’s see, and I hope you’re right, but would be a MASSIVE shock to me if he ends up at us. One that I’d be delighted with btw, but he’s not the answer and we’d need a more defensive player to complement him and Kobbie as well.

No one knows for sure what will happen with Carrick. It's just arrogant to suggest otherwise. But for me the club haven't got much choice, he's exceeded all expectations by some way. We've had every type of manager post Fergie fail already. Whatever will be will be.

Never a penalty. Didn't see any contact myself. VAR would have ruled it out. Goalkeepers are completely protected these days, right? 🫣

@Thenextantman @Hayles_101 Anderson is nailed on for Citeh, we need to move on past him. But I agree with your sentiment, he will only do as well as the signings he’s given.

@Le_Trawler @Hayles_101 You think defending in a low block is more tiring than high pressing/early recovery game? Have you watched United at all this season? Every match we played a high press it worked for the first half and they were completely gassed in the second. It shows in the performances.

@Hayles_101 We know Holland isn't gonna go from Southgate ball to Enrique ball. We know Carrick isn't gonna get brave with early subs. We know players are gonna keep being dead tired from defending in low blocks and lazy training sessions. Sad stuff.

@NoushardMUFC Simple Google check will show you the semi’s are July 14/15 and final on 19th. United start pre-season 18th. You seriously believe buying players, training and starting pre-season with a new manager still potentially with his country makes sense?

I don’t mean to say this, but I’ve been forced to. People say Andoni Iraola has never handled a big club — fair enough. But then tell us, which big club has Michael Carrick managed? The narrative that Xabi Alonso struggled at Madrid is also false. He left with a 71% win rate, so the evidence says otherwise. Who exactly contacted Xavi and got told he isn’t ready yet? No one. Pochettino and Nagelsmann are managing national teams, yes — but if approached early enough, negotiations can happen. The World Cup ends before preseason anyway. The idea that there are no managers available is simply a false narrative. Unai Emery is there, even if I personally don’t want him. Enzo Maresca. There are also managers like Inzaghi who could do the job but are barely mentioned. That’s already around 7 serious managerial options. The market is not as empty as people make it seem.

Man United fans yelling “NOT CARRICK!” Fair enough. But who’s the better realistic option available RIGHT NOW with proven pedigree? Michael Carrick: 12 wins in 18 games, victories over City, Arsenal and Liverpool, Champions League football incoming, 69%+ win rate, and a United legend rebuilding the club’s identity. Xabi Alonso? Struggled badly at Madrid after seven months. Andoni Iraola? Excellent at Bournemouth, but he’s never handled a club of United’s size. Xavi? Recently sacked and currently on a break. Mauricio Pochettino? Managing internationally now. The criticism is loud, but the alternatives are vague. Either name someone genuinely better and available, or back the man currently delivering results. This is Manchester United. Our club.

@themagic_tophat What exactly are you claiming in this video? There’s an Arsenal player making zero attempt to get the football and pushing a goalkeeper, is that the point you’re trying to make?

Isn’t it amazing how all those disingenuous twats show that photo of Saliba and Bayindir but never this video. They’re just bitter because they haven’t even been in a title race in 13 years and might never again the way they’re run.

@UTDKara Who is this world class coach ready to start at the end of the season you talk about…?

Kara@UTDKarra·
Why can’t Manchester United act like the big club we are? Real Madrid told Álvaro Arbeloa to come in as interim coach and made it clear that no matter the circumstances, he would leave at the end of the season. Madrid are now finishing 2nd and he will still leave even after qualifying them for the UCL Same thing with Michael Carrick at Man Utd after finishing 3rd. Chelsea hired McFarlane as an interim coach knowing he would leave at the end of the season regardless of the outcome, and they’re already moving for Xabi Alonso a top coach who could completely change them. But at Man Utd, we are still talking about United DNA, club legend, former player, Sir Alex blessing, he loves academy players and all these outdated narratives 😭 Meanwhile, every serious club in 2026 has moved on from the 2010 mentality while we’re here trying to recreate the Ole Solskjær 2021 era all over again. Instead of going for a world class coach ready to start work immediately after the season ends, we’re repeating the same mistakes again.

@themagic_tophat Mate your content is generally spot on, but your bitterness on this is embarrassing. Wind it in. They’re both excellent players but Bruno’s impact on his team is inarguably monumental in comparison. Great competition and either could have won.

@exfootballfan He’s far from perfect but all his issues are coachable. Anyone who remembers Peter Schmeichel when he arrived at Utd he couldn’t catch a cross to save his life. Went on to be easily the best in the world. Lammens is 22, he’ll be fine.

I’m sorry, but people might not see it now, but it will become clear later. He makes routine saves look world-class but barely reacts when a shot clearly requires him to stretch and make himself bigger. He’s not as good as some United fans believe.
