Here's when marriage ACTUALLY benefits women: → he's financially STABLE (you're not carrying the household) → He PROVIDES (you can focus on career OR family without struggle) → he values PARTNERSHIP (splits domestic labor, doesn't expect you to do everything) → He invests in your comfort (nanny, housekeeper, support systems) → you're not drowning in UNPAID labor while also working full-time Because let's be REAL: if you're: Working full-time Doing ALL the cooking, cleaning, and childcare Managing the household Carrying the MENTAL load AND he's not even financially contributing MORE? WHAT ARE YOU GAINING? a ROOMMATE who doesn't do dishes? That's not a PARTNERSHIP. That's a BURDEN.
