@Temp It’s the standard for determining your max for sure. But just strictly for the nerdy side of building muscle I prefer the dumbbells for the deeper stretch and ability to be slow and intentional on the eccentric

@DeanTTraining I typically stick to dumbbells but I also don’t have this machine at my gym. We have a hammer strength chest press but it doesn’t have both handle variations sadly

We’re about ~3 years away from EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON PLANET EARTH agreeing that this type of Machine is LIGHT YEARS better than Barbell Bench Press for building the Chest
