Water rescue by the Calgary Fire Dept in Confederation Park tonight. I’ve lived beside this creek for decades & don’t know of any other incidents where someone has been caught in the creek like this. Relieved the man seemed relatively OK. The Calgary Fire Department is awesome!

3 cars in the bike lanes this morning. The third one plastered with Canadian flags called out “fucking entitled cyclist”. He did call it correctly, I do feel entitled to ride my bike in the separated bike lanes without the threat of cars coming towards me 🙄

Pls slow down at the hill/bridge at 10th st NW. This past year, 2 terrible accidents w/ kids have occurred there- one a CHILD FATALITY. Know how easy it is to lose control on that steep hill path - we should be more vigilant with our caution @DruhFarrell @nenshi @cityofcalgary
