Mammy Keeffe is unreal. Norovirus is so bad in CUH right now, that visitor acceptance is very limited. When I was admitted, she wouldn’t go home. I kept saying “You can’t stay here. Go home. You might get sick. Go home, now.” Mammy Keeffe: I’m not going home without you.

Some journeys come full circle. As a child, I experienced homelessness. During that time, the Salvation Army supported me when many people didn’t understand what I was going through. Those experiences shaped my path and played a big role in my decision to pursue social work. 1/6

Tomorrow I turn 43. I'm 930 days sober and halfway through my 2nd year as a student social worker. I also got offered a new role which I'm super excited about. The last 3 years have changed me in ways I never expected. Thank you to everyone who's walked beside me along the way ♥️

Today we should be boarding a flight to Dubai to embark on an MSC cruise of the Emirates. So many amazing experiences booked along the way it's taken a while to get all cancelled! I know... health first, we can go later in the year & all that jazz but it still stings lads 🥹
