I was once working in Worcester and we were refused from nearly every pub on the basis of being Welsh. This is because the 6 nations was the week before and a load of Welsh lads had kicked off. We understood their reasoning and found somewhere that would let us in, we didn’t hold a protest.

4 traveller lads went to mulligans bar in Manchester last week. Door men asked them if they were travellers, and they said yea, and they said they are not allowed to let travellers in. Today, travellers held a protest outside the pub

Wilks lost his life because of his own choices.His family immediately cried "racist murder" — classic victim card — only to backtrack once the dashcam and bodycam proved them wrong. The White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooter was armed with a shotgun, handgun, and multiple knives, according to DC police chief Jeffrey Carroll. The shooter was identified as 31-year-old teacher Cole Allen from Torrance, California. The suspect emerged from a "makeshift room" near the entrance, where "there was no security" near where bar carts were stored, according to the New York Post. "He was in that room... he grabbed it out of a bag or something." The weapon "was long" and "didn’t look like a typical gun," a witness who was a volunteer at the event told the Post. It is reportedly believed that Allen was a guest at the Hilton hotel where the dinner took place.

So instead of taking a beat to consider whether their actions were lawful and proportionate, Scope have chosen to issue a public statement about me on their website. Which feels as though they are doubling down - and singling me out further. Suffice to say, I have taken legal advice and am well supported on that front. It’s worth noting that they appear to be leaning on the “Bananarama argument” - i.e. it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it - implying that the issue is the way I have expressed my lawfully held gender critical views. Those who follow me online will know that I am generally very measured in the way I express my views. However, even if I weren’t, reality is reality. Which means there is no “nice” way to say that a man who claims to be female is a man - and therefore shouldn't be in women's spaces and sports. Other than simply saying it. So the problem is not how you say it - it’s the fact you’re saying it at all.
