That’s why we allll have made the worst decisions when we were of that age. But keep blaming the younger one and not the expired moid in question

@perksofbeingHC Honestly maybe it’s best they don’t? It may be better to let the women whose voices are being repressed to be the ones to speak up on it. There’s a fine line of men helping in solidarity and then coming in with their voices and continuing to overshadow the female players

Serious question, because I certainly have not read everything: are any of the men on #Survivor50 speaking up on the gender disparity in the edit this season? Or have the women been left to advocate for themselves, as per usual? #Survivor

That Christian shit scene was painfully unfunny and just embarrassing… like why are we getting a whole segment of a non-potty trained grown man?? Meanwhile actual gameplay (especially from the women) is getting ignored. Be serious #Survivor50

@Codi_Vore @teachrobotslove I think a key to your idea is that the profane to which you are referring is more accurately described as "profane to others." If you truly find something to be profane, it will never be seductive or beautiful.

None of these people actually worship Satan, but if you were to ask most people why they use Satanic iconography they would say it is ironic or about inverting hierarchical structures or an attempt to reclaim their power in the world or it just looks cool. Okay, why does it look cool? Because it presents the profane as seductive and beautiful. So, in essence, pretending to worship Satan by using his image is not functionally any different than actually worshipping Satan. Many things are like this. The power is not in your belief or consent. It exists within the functional purpose of the thing itself.

@SurvivorSFT I think it’s likely she did not do that as a calculated move to save her relationship with Ozzy. If she had, it seems like she would’ve pulled him aside and told him, which would’ve been excellent. Blowing it up in front of question serves no purpose I can see.

I want to defend Emily for a moment - I get why she told Ozzy about the Mike stuff, despite Christian's directive not to. If you're Emily - why would you cut out your ally (Ozzy) for the sake of Christian's plan? They could've voted Angelina. Everyone's happy. #Survivor50

Can someone explain to me the difference between requiring Americans to have a Real ID to get on a plane and asking them to show that same Real ID in order to vote? Why isn't it a hardship to get a copy of your marriage license or birth certificate in order to get a Real ID but it is in order to vote for the leader of the free world? Make it make sense, please!

@davehomeless89 Because the definition of abuse is constantly changing to include absurd things. I think most MAGA folks agree with that premise, but disagree on what constitutes abuse.

“Being blamed for slavery” complaints sure are interesting when considered alongside the popularity of bragging about other white people’s accomplishments. Why is shared recognition only okay when it’s credit, and not when it’s responsibility?

@CelestinaBlooms If you haven’t read it, I recommend a book called “The 5 Second Rule.” It’s a great book for helping to snap yourself into moving towards the things you know you should do.

@LinkofSunshine Besides being a terrible way to live, I have to wonder if these people don’t think any illness prior to COVID warranted this kind of reaction. It was never a take you heard in 2019 or before and it’s never even mentioned the in the context of like, the flu!
