Urban Legend or “True Crime”? You don’t hear stories like this anywhere else. Last night, Pete broke down the story of the “Doublemint Twins”…two gang members/twins who moved as one, until “Pistol Pete” Rollock ordered the hit. Then it got even deeper… including the street legend of Rollock’s “wet T-shirts.” Real stories. Real history. The kind of details you only get from guys who were there. If you missed it, go back and watch. 🚨 TUE Mar 17, 2026 7:05PM ET / Episode 39 🚨 ☘️ St. Patrick’s Day at the Tavern: Blood Gangs, Corrupt Cops, and Two True NY Stories PIVOT REQUIRED: Det1 Wendell Stradford to be rescheduled to a future date! It’s St. Paddy’s Day, so pour yourself something strong, grab a corned beef sandwich, and settle in. Pete and Tommy are bringing two unforgettable stories from the streets of New York. Segment One: Sex Money Murder Pete Forcelli breaks down the rise of Sex Money Murder, one of the most notorious Blood sets to emerge from the Bronx in the 1990s. Born in the Soundview Houses and tied to the rise of the United Blood Nation at Rikers Island, the gang built a violent reputation that spread across New York and beyond. At the center of it all was Peter “Pistol Pete” Rollock, whose reign of violence ultimately led to multiple murders and a life sentence in federal prison. Segment Two: When the Badge Goes Bad Tommy Joyce dives into the shocking corruption case involving two NYPD officers from Brooklyn’s 77th Precinct who were accused of working with violent criminals while wearing the badge. Federal prosecutors alleged the officers robbed drug dealers, worked with a robbery crew, and were even tied to a plot targeting a decorated NYPD detective who had testified against them. Two stories. One wild night at the Tavern. @Forcelli_Pete @Trjoyce @TheFinestCast @ExecPerspective @JohnDMacari @EricDymCop @FiredDetective @110BigGuy @Robluke10 #theFinestUnfiltered #TFT #lawenforcement #truecrime #NYPD #streetgangs #bloods #policecorruption youtube.com/live/3_zLhrnpf…

🚨 He Solved Over 100 Murders. And Some Took 25 Years. 🚨 Det1 Wendell Stradford, NYPD / Tue March 17, 2026 7:05PM ET Retired NYPD Detective WENDELL STRADFORD spent 37 years hunting killers and became one of the NYPD’s most respected cold-case investigators. Some cases took decades. Some families had almost given up hope. But Stradford never did. On this episode we sit down with the detective who: • Helped solve the 1988 rape and murder of 9-year-old Joi Little and her mother after 25 years • Tracked down the killers in the 1996 torture murder of a Bronx couple while their children watched • Helped build the case against Rodney Alcala – the infamous “Dating Game Killer” • Worked through the evolution of DNA evidence, eyewitness work, and confessions that finally broke cold cases open Cold cases are different. There’s no crime scene tape. No fresh witnesses. No headlines. Just a detective who refuses to let a family forget. Wendell Stradford spent his career doing exactly that. Join Peter J. Forcelli and Tom Joyce as they talk with one of the NYPD’s most respected investigators about cold cases, the psychology of killers, and the moment when you finally tell a family… “We got him.” Watch the full episode here: @TheFinestUnfiltered/streams" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@TheFinestUnfi@Forcelli_Pete @Trjoyce @TheFinestCast @ExecPerspective @FiredDetective @EricDymCop @Robluke10 @110BigGuy #theFinestUnfiltered #TFT #NYPD #ColdCase #DetectiveWork #TrueCrime #PoliceStories #LawEnforcement #JusticeForVictims

🚨 TALKING SOMEONE BACK FROM THE EDGE 🚨 During our conversation with Retired NYPD Lieutenant Jack Cambria, longtime commander of the NYPD Hostage Negotiation Team, he shared a powerful story about a suicidal military veteran standing on a ledge. Jack talked him down. Offered him a hug. The veteran stepped inside and Jack embraced him. Jack then asked Pete and me what the first thing you do next is. We said, give him a hug. Jack smiled and said, “No…the second thing is the hug. The first thing you do is close the window so he can’t turn around and jump back out.” It’s a moment that’s both sobering and human. A perfect example of the calm judgment, compassion, and experience required to literally talk someone off the ledge and save a life. That’s what “Gentleman Jack” and hostage negotiators across the country do every day. What cops do! 🚨 ICYMI: WHEN WORDS SAVE LIVES: THE LEGACY OF “GENTLEMAN JACK” CAMBRIA 🚨 Retired NYPD Lieutenant Jack Cambria, legendary commander of the NYPD Hostage Negotiation Team, joined us at the Ten-Four Tavern to reflect on a remarkable 34-year career that began on patrol in Brooklyn and led to the elite Emergency Service Unit and the leadership of the NYPD’s hostage negotiators. Jack shares powerful insights on the psychology of negotiation, explaining how compassion, trust, and communication can save lives in seconds. From the lessons learned after the 1973 Broadway Sporting Goods siege, to intense standoffs like the Staten Island barricade, to the global influence of negotiation training, the conversation reveals how crisis leadership works when everything is on the line. We also talk about his post-retirement consulting work in television and film, including The Taking of Pelham 123, his memories from the World Trade Center site after 9/11, and even wrap up with a lighter conversation about Italian culture and food. Stories like these preserve the legacy and lessons of those who served. John D. Macari Jr. 🇺🇸🗽
There was a time when NYPD cops didn’t hesitate to perform a Stop, Question & Possible Frisk. During that time, the individual seen in this video would have been stopped, questioned, and yes frisked. If the individual turned out not to be armed with a real weapon, officers would have documented his identity, physical description, and the circumstances that led to the encounter. That information becomes invaluable later. God forbid an attack was carried out in Times Square. Having a documented encounter with someone walking around masked with what appeared to be a firearm could become a critical investigative lead. What we may have just witnessed could very well have been a dry run someone testing response times and the reaction of the NYPD. In case you forgot NYC remains the #1 terror target in the world. It could simply have been another mentally ill individual failed by New York City’s Care, Community, Action program (formerly ThriveNYC) wandering the streets with a toy gun while causing fear, panic and alarm. The truth is, because of that response, we are left to guess. And that uncertainty is the direct result of a system that has spent the last decade forcing NYPD cops to second guess themselves, holding them to impossible standards while drowning them in paperwork designed more to prove the NYPD is racist than to keep New Yorkers safe. I place the blame squarely on the elected officials and political appointees who have spent the last twelve years undermining proactive policing from Kathy Hochul, Jumaane Williams, and Eric Adams, to the leadership at the New York City Police Department, the New York City Council, and the members of the State Senate and Assembly who enabled it. Instead of seeing a confident, proactive police response, we saw officers who looked unsure of their authority and hesitant in their mission. That hesitation & inexperience didn’t come from them, it came from the political climate created by those who place politics & optics over public safety. What we should have witnessed was a lawful stop, a frisk for weapons, a brief investigation, and the identification of someone walking through Times Square masked with what appeared to be a firearm. If it turned out he was simply an idiot carrying a toy gun, the item should have been removed and vouchered to prevent a dangerous confrontation with police or civilians. The encounter also would have been documented. That documentation could later become a valuable investigative lead especially if a robbery or other crime involving a masked suspect with a similar weapon was reported earlier. But instead of competent, proactive policing, we now have hesitation. Apparently the greater fear in New York City isn’t failing to stop a potential threat, It’s being labeled racist. So instead, we settle for something far worse, an NYPD that is inexperienced, hesitant, ineffective, and a city that is increasingly vulnerable because of it.

🚨Times Square, NYC🚨 A masked man dressed head-to-toe in black ran through Times Square carrying what appeared to be an assault rifle, prompting a response from NYPD officers who quickly chased him down. After officers stopped the individual and inspected the weapon, it turned out to be a toy gun with a green flag attached to it. Not the smartest move, especially with the city currently on high alert for potential terrorism threats. For licensing email viralnewsnyc@gmail.com

🚨IRAN, INTELLIGENCE, AND ONE OF THE MOST ENTERTAINING TAVERN NIGHTS YET🌍 Morgan Wright delivered an incredible deep dive into Iran, the current conflict, and what it means for homeland security, public safety professionals, and our communities. It would be hard to find a law enforcement professional anywhere with a deeper understanding of Iran and this conflict. Morgan was not only incredibly informed, he was hilarious. He showed up with props for almost every topic, his cats made a few appearances, and the conversation never slowed down. We were also joined by Ron Leyson, and the two of them made history with what may be the first ever recorded virtual challenge coin swap. The education was priceless. The entertainment was off the charts. One of the most unique and engaging guests we’ve ever had at the Tavern. 🌍 IRAN IN CRISIS — WHAT IT MEANS FOR OUR SAFETY HERE AT HOME From Kansas trooper to national security strategist with deep historical understanding of Iran going back decades, Morgan Wright brings context few voices can match. With the latest U.S. and Israeli military action against Iran escalating into a broader conflict with reported strikes across the region and fears of wider instability, there are real implications for public safety, law enforcement, and our communities here in the U.S. Morgan will break down: • What this latest military action really means • Emerging threats we should watch for domestically • How law enforcement and homeland security adapt during geopolitical crises • What communities should understand about risk, retaliation, and resilience He’s lived this story from the street to the strategic level and he’ll also tie it to his work in public safety. Oh, and yes; he’s got a great collection of Belgian beer to toast at the tavern. 🚨 TUE FEB 27, 2026 7:05PM ET 🚨 Chief Michael Fanning Pawleys Island PD/retired NYPD Sgt/Detective Squad Chief Mike Fanning survived a life-and-death NYPD shooting only to revolutionize how we solve cold cases today. From leading the Hate Crimes Task Force to using investigative genetic genealogy to identify John Does, this is the story of a legendary career. On this episode of Ten-Four Tavern, we sit down with Chief Mike Fanning, Chief of Police of Pawleys Island and retired NYPD Sergeant/Detective Squad Supervisor. Fanning joined the NYPD in 1986 during NYC’s most volatile era. He shares the chilling details of a 1989 shooting where a suspect disarmed an officer, a moment that defined his 30-year career. We dive into his work with the Hostage Negotiation Team, the Hate Crimes Task Force, and his leadership through the pre- and post-9/11 evolution of modern law enforcement. But the investigation didn’t stop at retirement. Chief Fanning explains how he taught himself Investigative Genetic Genealogy (IGG) to solve a nearly decade-old mystery, bringing closure to a family by identifying a long-unclaimed John Doe using public DNA databases like Ancestry and Family Tree DNA. @Forcelli_Pete @Trjoyce @TheFinestCast @ExecPerspective @JohnDMacari @EricDymCop @FiredDetective @110BigGuy @Robluke10 #TenFourTavern #NYPD #ColdCase #GeneticGenealogy #PoliceLeadership #TrueCrime #HostageNegotiation #Detective #PublicSafety #ChiefOfPolice Watch here live or on replay: youtube.com/live/oCJaqLiaI…

🔥 Episode 36 Morgan Wright / Tue Mar 3, 2026 7:05PM ET🔥 From Kansas Trooper to National Security Insider/Advisor Morgan Wright isn’t just another talking head on cable news. He is the CEO and Founder of the National Center for Open and Unsolved Cases; a 501c3 supported by two Department of Justice grants, focused on advancing investigative methods and reopening cases that refuse to die quietly. He is also the creator of CRIME: RECONSTRUCTED, a Substack and podcast breaking down high-profile cases with forensic discipline and digital intelligence strategy. Morgan has been deeply involved in analysis surrounding the Nancy Guthrie case, with multiple interviews and investigative breakdowns that are widely available. Before becoming a national cybersecurity and intelligence voice, he spent 18 years in state and local law enforcement as a Kansas police officer and Kansas State Trooper. That foundation matters. He understands the street level impact before he talks about federal policy. He later: • Testified before Congress on Healthcare.gov, influencing how the federal government protects personal data • Served in the State Department’s Antiterrorism Assistance Program • Taught behavioral analysis at NSA • Taught the FBI how to conduct internet investigations • Advised on national security at the highest levels And now he’s working on a book proposal that connects these worlds — street policing, intelligence failures, cyber evolution, and what America still gets wrong about investigations. Take a look at the latest episode of the Executive Perspective to hear @Robluke10 and my take on the “snowball fight” incident and what leadership should have done in response to this attack on these officers. When @NYCMayor claims that what happened in Washington Square park was “just a snowball fight” while acknowledging that two police officers went to the hospital with facial lacerations, what message is he sending to the rank and file of the #NYPD?
